The James/Artem Rumba is quite possibly my favourite moment of the show ever. Hilarious! And rather gorgeous too. James portrayed the woman scarily well.

SO excited for tonight. It's the first series since series 5 I've genuinely loved all 3 finalists. Pamela is wonderful, Matt's up there in possibly the top male celebs ever to appear and Kara is, quite possibly, my favourite contestant ever.

If I'm being completely honest, I like it to finish:

1. Kara

2. Matt

3. Pamela

but I think it will finish:

1. Matt

2. Pamela

3. Kara

None of the finalists have ever been in the bottom 2, which makes it interesting. All 3 are completely different contestants. I think that's why it's so exciting. For the last two series, the final 3 have usually been 1 excellent one and two good, but not amazing contestants, or two amazing ones and one mediocre one (and the mediocre one triumphed!) whereas tonight we have 3 brilliant contender. I don't think Pamela is as good as she is often made out to be by the judges, but she's still brilliant and I think all 3 are deserving finalists.

SO excited though. It's possibly the most exciting final (for me personally, anyway) since series 5. I know it's been rumoured that Matt's the hot favourite and has topped the votes, but I really believe it's anyones game. (Also, I adore the fact we'll have a completely new winning pro!)

Either way, it's going to be good. Half an hour!!!!! <3

I agree about the Jartem rumba, it was definitely a moment to fan myself and say 'its hot in here isn't it?' LOL. A legendary dance, did you know its on Youtube?

I do not know who I want to win. I didn't think much of Matt or Kara's showdances but liked Pam's. Matt is the hunky farmboy, like Clark Kent. Kara is the artistic, sensual one. Pamela is the inspirational to women one- I hope I can do all that when I'm 60!

I feel a bit hm... about the result. I wanted Pam and James to win, probably more James cos he is a dedicated professional who has been there for years. Wasn't sure if I wanted Matt or Kara to win after that, but I think Matt was given unfair comments and marks sometimes e.g. the judges didn't like his Paso...er...hello? It was brilliant.

I think Matt's strength was the macho dances like the tango and paso. Scott's (who I wanted to win) strength was the fast dances like jive and charleston. Pamela's was the ballroom and dances where she had to be dominant. Kara's were the floaty dances and latin type ones. IMO. On Facebook they were calling Matt, Scott, Pam and Kara the Great Four, which was true.

I loved both finalists and I think either would have been worthy. Pamela was brilliant and well done to her for third place. Not sure she deserved to go any further though. She was brilliant yes, but I really thought Kara & Matt were quite a way ahead. I was shocked though, because I really thought Pamela would make the final two.

It was quite an underwhelming final, really. Not helped by shifting the Showdances from their final dances. The BBC need to stop making silly changes and give us the old format back. (Though, all the showdances were bad, so maybe it's a good thing.)

For me though, Kara's up there in the best contestants ever. If people claimed Rachel was the best (despite not being very wow in the Latin dances, apart from the Rumba) then Kara is more than worthy. The best female contestant since Alesha, IMO. The first one in a long time to suit both ballroom and Latin dances.

I'm sad for Matt & Aliona, because I know they wanted to win, but I'm thrilled for Kara.

I have seen so many bitching about Kara online saying she only won because of her love story with artem what a pile of **** she is one of the best dancers i have ever seen on Strictly, she could be professional, and i thought she was ah-maz-ing

Sadly, it's the same thing every year.

Occasionally, you get people within a fanbase that will find any excuse possible to justify why their favourite didn't win, whilst putting the winning couple down. Sad really.

Kara's quite possibly the best dancer the show has ever had. If Tom Chambers & Chris Hollins deserved to win, then Kara did a million times more. I'd just ignore them.

I don't know what to think about Kara really. She apparently had lots of dance training before Strictly, but obviously Matt had gymnastics training and was good at presentation, balance etc. due to that. So they are even.

I think I'll feel better if Kara and Artem have a relationship afterwards, then I'll know it wasn't just acting to get the judges and public on their side.

Whilst I really did love Matt & Aliona's relationship, I think that's spot on. Aliona's not really at the same standard as the other female pros, and it's highlighted even more since A) Female Pros that have choreographed better have left or been eliminated early and B) She actually has a decent partner. With somebody like Gavin, she probably would have done brilliantly (Not the greatest dancer, but likely to pull off the gimmicks well.) Personally, I think Matt/Katya (which would have been dynamite!) and Gavin/Aliona may have worked better.

As far as I'm aware (and I may be wrong) Kara had about the same amount of dance training as any other actress/popstar that ahs appeared on Strictly. Her only advantage (and this is only slight!) was the Sports Relief dance she did with Mark Ramprakash. And that was dancing the Samba (which she didn't even dance this series). Matt's gymnastics were only an advantage in his Cha Cha, where they worked. The rest of the time, the gymnastics looked out of place. He was a great dancer without them, so it's a shame Aliona went OTT including them.

I've never quite believed it anyway. Or at least, from Kara's side. Artem seems completely genuinely into her, but I can't decide if she gave the same vibe. I guess time will tell. Either way, it's their business and I hope, if they do start a relationship - they don't face a backlash for it.

I know, right? I don't understand why they changed that. Tonight though, I'm also kind of relieved. All the showdances were bad, and would have ruined their chances. I'm glad they finished on more respectable performances.
