My heart bleeds, GameTime. The little brat has been asking for it. I'd say "Pippa" is being way over the top, and Tom is being obstinate and pig-headed the way he says the decision's been made and it's non-negotiable. "Milko" is not a licence to do anything you like (eg. cutting pictures out of books)

I'm sorry this sounds harsh, but it cuts both ways! Dodge is not the only one in the wrong here, you can't say Sally was completely innocent in this.

Sally's 9, Dodge is 17 - so he should know better.

I agree that Sally has been a bit bratty towards Dodge, but he did steal her chocolate on their first meeting and to a 9 year old that is something that would stand out in your mind as a negative thing for an adult to do. Dodge has taken it way to far and become a child himself in the way he acts with Sally. As ryno says, he is 17, she is 9.

Age has got nothing to do with it. It's the malicious intent that counts, and Dodge has (at least up until now) been incredibly patient with that little girl, who might I add has been a persistent brat ever since he joined the series.

Just wait till we get to the later episodes,

when it refuses to go to school, locks herself in her room, and talks to "Pippa" through the door, all because of Dodge (and what did he do that time?).

What a horrible little girl that is! Just you wait till you get to these episodes, then you'll see what I mean

And don't you think Tom and "Pippa" are in fact treating Sally with favouritism over Dodge?

Also, why do you include the time when he "stole her chocolate"? She denied again and again that had anything to do with her grudge against him?

Also, Dodge isn't even an adult, he's 16 isn't he, same age as Steven??

You're amazing, you know that? Your heart bleeds? Good for you champ.

Sally is NINE. Having someone come into your home and family and have them treat you with nothing but disrespect, how would you feel? He belittles her all the time, and I can't believe Tom and Pippa haven't had more of a talking to him about it.

I do see your point Old H&A Fan. Other than the odd remark here and there he's been ignoring her, whilst she has made it no secret that she hates him. He was tactless when interrogating Sally about Milco though Imo

That cliff that Dodge fell down looked very similar to the spot Stephanie fell in 1997.

She has been picking and picking and picking, repeatedly telling him "you're horrible" and "I hate you" for no reason!!!! He has been ignoring her. If you remember, it was her that fired the first shot, and if you include the bus stop incident (is this where you said he "stole her chocolate"), she denied this had anything to do with why she hates him.

"No reason?"

I thought you knew fine well the reason Sally hates him is because she has an extremely bad feeling about him, something she can't quite put her finger on. You posted (ranted) at length about this. So either your memory is selective or you think just because you personally don't believe in these "feelings", it therefore doesn't qualify as a reason within the context of the storyline.

Make up your mind please.

I think the thing is if it wasn't the chocolate and just a feeling Sally has, I can see where Old H&A Fan is coming from in that having a 'feeling' about someone shouldn't be an excuse to be quite openly nasty or say that they hate someone, but you have to take into account that she is only 9 years old too.

I know when/if I have a 'feeling' about someone I usually either stay distant from them until my feeling is proven to be either true or false, in the meantime I wouldn't tell them I disliked them becuase of it. And that is the difference between being an adult and a child. Dodge in a way stooped down to her level but started being emotionally abusive, you cant do that to a child.
