I agree with Carina, Cally, your writing is improving a lot!

Once again I loved that chapter. It was amazing.

Well Roman, I am glad that he realised that he has lots of apologising to do. In a way I do hope Charlie gives him a chance to talk to her. I think it would be good for Roman and help him to move on. Poor Ross. Seems like he is still beating himself up for what happened after Ruby was born. Glad he is realising that he has to look to the future and how he can help his girls out now. I liked that Angelo tried to help Ross, was sweet. I think Roman getting his job back may be a good thing as it'll give him something else to focus on other than all the mess thats going on with everyone is his life right now.

I love the whole end bit with Ruby and Charlie. It was lovely and the bit before their conversation was brilliant. Really well written. And Ruby is still going to be there for her. And said they are okay. I'm glad about that.

Update soon. Cant wait for more.

So sorry for the lack of comments! I have just caught up. Once again fantastic updates. So lovely to see ruby and charlies relationship blossoming and their emotions have been captured perfectly. I love the way Ross has been written, you can see the love he has for his 'girls' and the regrets he has for what happened to Charlie. I love Angelo in this fic, he is so supportive and obviously loves Charlie. Really looking forward to the next part, your writing is fantastic

Wow, awesome update Cally, and your writing has improved so much I loved this chapter, and the embracing bit, wow I also loved your other wee bits in italics, very different but in a good way! I'm glad Roman is going to try and sort out his relationships, Nicole is good at giving him reality checks, and she's the one person who he actually seems to listen to. I hope Irene gives him his job back so he can make a fresh start, at least he has Colleen on his side!

Poor Ross, he has to stand outside the room not knowing what is going on, feeling so helpless! And Angelo's still there! I'm sure they all appreciate it though. I'm glad Leah got to offload to Irene, she needs someone to talk to right now cos she's so confused, and she can't exactly talk to Charlie about it.

That ending was simply beautiful! I'm running out of words to describe your fiction, I need to read a dictionary! And Ruby's going to be with her until the end, aww! I'm so glad they're ok! Great work, can't wait for your next update!!

Great update!

I loved that someone asked Morag how she was doing in all of this, as it had effected her too and all she has done so far is be there to support everyone. She needs a little comfort too and I love how it was Angelo. I hope she is able to talk to him or someone about what she has to say. Ha, and now Morag has realised that Angelo likes Charlie. Loved Ross' 'Angelo my boy' comment. But Roman I cant believe he punched Angelo. Just when I was starting to think good thoughts about the guy!

Another great update as usual Cally! Poor Charlie's in so much pain, you write that so well, I feel in pain myself when I read it! Loved your bit about matchsticks, that made me laugh I love Angelo's determination, the fact that he can't rest until he knows they are both ok says a lot about how much he cares for him, and Morag has certainly seen that I loved the scene with Angelo and Morag, he is just so lovely! I'm so glad he told her he would listen, he's the only person who's seen how much this is all affecting her, and she needed that hug so badly. It was good that Nicole came with Roman to the hospital to help him to make the first step through the doors, but he hasn't done anything to help their relationship. He punched Angelo I really hate him right now how could he??? I thought he was trying to repair his relationship with Charlie! I don't think he's going to get forgiveness when she finds out what he did to Angelo. Poor Angelo has been there for them all this time, he's worn himself out and Roman has been busy getting drunk. I'm glad Roman gave him a bit of a talking to. I hope Angelo is ok... I can't wait for your next update!! xo
