Wonder what Matt said about Ruby that has Charlie so protective of her past?? So many questions. I love how Charlie is so worried about people finding out but at the same time you make it come across from Charlie's P.O.V so clearly that it's not because she's ashamed of how Ruby was concieved. But at the same time she's worried people will look at them differently and they way Charlie is so protective of Ruby makes me think that she's mostly worried about how people will treat her. Red Ranger 1 Posted January 31, 2011 Report Posted January 31, 2011 Loved the officers' reactions to Charlie and the little chat between Jack and Martha, although Jack did seem to be a bit of a drama queen.Definitely sounds like a bit of a story in Charlie and Ruby's recent past, plus it sounds like they've already got a connection to Morag...Looking forward to finding out some of the answers! Charlie, the male police officer who they think Georgina will like, maybe Officer Williams will like HER that really was funny!! I love how you had a bit with Martha and Rachel in it, hopefully they can befriend Charlie. Awk bless Charlie, wanting a fresh start, but it really would be easier if she was completely truthful first time round, even if she is worried about how people will react. Chapter 7 Hahahaha Jack's reaction! I'm so glad she mentioned Ruby, she didn't need to elaborate, they'll work it out anyway, looks like they're starting to twig onto something already! Oooh Angelo and Charlie do I sense something there? I think so! Oh dear, Morag and Alf, poor Charlie. As usual I love all the Chuby stuff....love how much Ruby is there for Charlie and is often voice of reason for her. Charlie seems really at ease in Leah's company, and its nice that Leah doesnt care or feel's she needs to be told about how Ruby came about. Leah seems to be a great preson for Charlie to open up to as well, cos she wouldnt be judgemental or think any differently. Pity Martha didnt have the same kind of reaction as Leah. Oh my, good job Charlie didn't hear her or she would feel even worse than she does about people finding out! Really intrigued as to what happened back in the city to make Charlie feel this way. carywary Posted February 4, 2011 Report Posted February 4, 2011 I love how Charlie has started to open up to Leah, and she can see that she too is a single mother with a trail of broken relationships, hopefully she'll prove to be a valuable friend for Charlie. And everyone seems so friendly towards them, it was nice of Jack to introduce Martha, and their reactions to Ruby were to be expected but it's a pity it seems to have caused a fight between them, hopefully they'll work things out soon. It's nice to see that he is standing up for Charlie and not just assuming she's a slut or something. And chuby especially their hug in the restaurant and Ruby noticing the difference in Charlie, it just shows just how much they are in sync Loving this Cally! Thankyou! Quote
