I'm glad Jack went to see Charlie, at least she knows everyone won't judge her, it's nice for her to know that someone is on her side. It was really good that Martha apologised and I'm so glad Charlie is going to go to lunch with some of the other women of the bay, hopefully she'll start making friends. The end of that update was sad though Poor Ruby. I look forward to more. Oh & by the way, don't worry about timing. Wow, it takes me longer than a week to update most of the time. Danni02 Posted February 13, 2011 Author Report Posted February 13, 2011 Great update Cally! I liked the Marilyn and Ruby stuff, and how she didnt seem to bothered that Charlie was her mother. Liked the stuff with Charlie, Rachel, Martha and Gina at lunch too! Kinda feel sorry for Charlie with all the questioning about her being Ruby's mother. Glad that Ruby has met some teens around her age, hopefully her and Nic can be good friends soon! Maybe a little longer for Indi giving her reaction! The ending was sad, poor Rubes! Update soon Quote

Marilyn you just wrote her so well, I could just hear her rattling on in my head! Indi I hope her and Ruby manage to sort things out ok cos Ruby needs some friends, although it looks like she has Nicole on side. I thought Charlie handled the 20 questions really well, but I thought they could have pretended to act a little less surprised! I'm sure Morag will sort them out when she arrives! JosieTash Posted February 15, 2011 Report Posted February 15, 2011 There’s SOOOOO much to love in this chapter …… Ruby’s “but I’m better for you than a cookie”; Marilyn being glad her b/f is a Dr; Gina’s “you left your daughter downstairs by herself”; Charlie’s line bout a 6am cuddle; Nicole being totally supportive of Ruby ……. and MOST ESPECIALLY .…….. The truth was, Charlie had always seen that Ruby was meant to be there, to help her through what happened when she was fourteen. Quote
