Georgie was definetely there but haven't seen anything of Tessa. I thought Ada's, Samara's and Rebecca's dresses were beautiful and without a doubt the best!

I know I can't even get my head around it..... Karl whatshisface. Seriously. There are way better journos in the country then that moron. Jess & Rebecca & Asher were robbed! I am so annoyed and shocked right now. Who the hell voted for him? Really, he should not have been in the category to begin with. He should not even be on tv. You know even though I don't like her much but Lisa Wilkonson is much much better then HIM. WTF. He is an idiot!!!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Hm... I've been viewing these boards for about three years now, and being a member for a year and a half, and I have to say that I have noticed that the interest for the logies seem to have almost gone now comparing to for example 2008 and 2009. Back then the threads about the logies were about 35 pages and now the Logies thread are only 4 pages. I saw this already last year, because comparing to 2009 the interest here was very low. In 2009 people followed this live/on tv and commented when everything happened. Remember the excitement here when Lincoln Lewis won his silver logie for pop new talent and Kates gold one in 2008, and Todd Lasance's silver logie win in 2009... Last year home and away had 11 nominations far more than the years before, but still the interest seem pretty low.

And now this year with only 2 nomintations and no wins it seems like the interest (and maybe the interest in general, I've read on Austr. newpapers websites) seem to be like zero.

I know (from what I've read) that it was the organizers interest to cut the chances for H&A and neighbours for winning the popular statues... but as a foreigner I find this a bit weird... Because no one seem to complain when Packed to the rafters wins almost all the prizes. Yes, I know that this series is very popular in Australia, but there are others too. And if H&A shouldn't win with about 1 mill viewers and The Packed should win all with 1.9 mill then it's a bit weird... It's like media in Australia is trying to dictate what people should like or not. And this is very typical for awards and not only in Australia... I can see things like this in my own country when it comes to the music industry and awards (the Tv and movie industry isn't big enough).

Because why don't people from H&A never win the outstanding prizes?? Yes, I know it's only a soap, but shouldn't an outstanding perfomance prize be about an outstanding performance and not about the show that you are on?? I remember I thought it was strange that for instance Todd L did not get nominated for that prize in 2009, I think he should have (and I know about some actors there who were nominated who I think is no better than some of the H&A actors)... even if I don't know all the other shows it seems to me that they don't want H&A actors to win it because that they (the juries) think that soap actors are worse than others... But I think from what I have seen from clips and a few eps from paced to the rafters that the acting here aren't that much better than on H/A... actually worse sometimes, even they use much more time to recording it (because of fewer eps..).. I think that the scenes with this Ben at his wifes funeral were totally off... where were the real emotions?!? A big cry from Flynns funeral and even Jack or Belles... It is a bit cold and jugdemental and also very old fashioned, and thats maybe the reason why it doesn't get popular outside Australia.

I think it also weird as a foreigner to look in a programme guide in my country to see so many Australian (good) series..Rush for example and then see blogging or the news from the logies and such good series get totally left out! It's like Australian TV is just about one TV-series...

But when it comes to this year I don't think it is weird that H&A didn't win anything, because 2010 season (which this years logies are based on??) was totally horrible!! I don't think (from what I've seen) that Charles cottier wasn't very good as Dex either because the writing of him wasn''t good last year - he was too weird and his storylines (Mitzy, Marilyn) felt uncomfortable to watch... I have a feeling that he is better this year (from reading the comments and seen some few clips)...

This is not meant to be critisism because I have no right to... this isn't my country and I don't fully know the Australian entertainment... But these thoughts are just thoughts and some observations seen from outside.. :)

I was a little shocked to see there were only four pages. There was a time when we'd all lif blog it.

As for outstanding awards I don't think it has to do with the show so much as the quality.HAA just doesn't have the samw quality as the competiton which is why it's lagged behind the last few years.

I still can't get over the Karl bs.Seriously, who the hell voted for him?Even Chrissie would've been better.I love her.

They couldn't even get Charles' nomination right! They showed Ryan Corr instead of Charles, so he didn't even get his little spotlight moment. Bitter, me? Never .

Channel 9 were doing some seriously heavy campaigning for Karl this year, so I'm not really surprised he won.
