Thank You everyone for waiting almost a month for an update, I know I promised a long update, this is the best I could do. Sorry again, the chapter after will be the long one, cause of what I am going through at the moment:

Angelo followed Charlie chasing her just like Brax ordered.

‘Charlie Charlie, wait up’ Angelo puffed.

‘I can’t’

‘Why not?’

‘Because Brax sent you, just to change my mind’

‘No he didn’t, I just want to talk’

Charlie turned around to face Angelo, she was in tears, and she fell straight into Angelo’s arms.

‘Ssshhh’ Angelo said comforting her.

‘I couldn’t do it Angelo’

‘Why couldn’t you marry him, you love him so much’

‘I did love him, I don’t anymore’

‘Why not’

‘Because since I started our little affair, I fell in love with you’

Angelo looked at her shocked, ‘You do?’

‘Yeah I love you so much, I just wished it was you I was walking towards, you I was going to wed and have children with, not Brax’ Charlie said whipping her eyes.

‘Well you got to tell Brax you don’t love him, because he needs to know’

‘I know’ Charlie said getting up, with the help of Angelo.

‘Well you want to call him?’

‘No, I think he needs to know in person and needs to know about what we did behind his back, ok?’

Angelo nodded, but regretted it.

Charlie took hold of Angelo’s hand as they walked down the beach together; he smiled at her before wrapping his spare arm around her waist and kissing her forehead. Charlie smiled back at him and kissing his lips. Angelo never felt so happy, he never thought the day when Charlie picked him over Brax. Angelo closed his eyes, he was scared what Brax would do to him or even Charlie. Charlie had the same thoughts running through her head, but she was more scared for Ruby or even Tom. As they reached the church they saw Brax’s back and quickly let go of their connected hands.

‘Brax’ Charlie said.

Brax turned around, ‘Thank god baby’ he said kissing her forehead.

‘No no no Brax, I can’t’

‘Can’t what?’

‘Marry you, that’s why I said I couldn’t’

‘What, we agreed, we are in love’

‘Yeah we both are, but not with each other’

‘Yes we are baby, what do you mean?’

‘I love Angelo’

‘What?’ Brax yelled, he slowly shifted his eyes over to Angelo’s face.

Angelo closed his eyes and bowed his head.

‘Do you love her?’ Brax asked.

‘Yes’ Angelo said lifting his head.

Brax punched Angelo fair and square in the face.

Angelo looked back up to Brax, he wasn’t going to punch back, he was the bigger man.

Tom slowly walked out the church, he was stunned to see his dad being punched.

‘Daddy’ Tom said running towards Angelo

‘Shut up kid’ Brax said looking at Tom.

‘Don’t you dare hurt him’ Angelo said getting up.

‘I can do what I want’ Brax said picking up Tom by his neck.

‘TOM’ Angelo yelled.

‘Brax put him down now’

‘No’ Brax said, slapping Charlie.

After everything that happened with Brax, the cops were called and Brax was arrested. Charlie was sitting on the beach with Tom comforting him as Angelo went for a walk. Angelo walked slowly up to the top of Point Danger, he looked over the edge as the breeze gushed against his bruised face. He closed his eyes, he hated his life, the only good things were Charlie and Tom. He believed he didn’t really have anything to be happy about. He took a step closer and felt the ledge.

'You know it's not that bad' A voice said form behind him, he turned and was relieved when he saw the face.

Angelo looked back as he saw the face of the woman, he smiled before doing a double take and hugging the woman, before placing a kiss on her forehead.

'What are you doing here?' Angelo asked.

'I wanted to see you'

'Far enough, it's been so long, I can't believe it'

'7 years Angelo'

'I know I know' Angelo said wrapping his arms around the woman again.

'I love you'

'I love you too'

'Have you spoken to mum or dad lately?'

'No sorry, why?' Angelo asked.

'UM mum died last week'

'What?' Angelo said in tears.

'Yeah cancer, I thought you knew?'

'No' Angelo said cuddling his sister.

'Here here' Angelo's sister said cuddling.

Angelo just cried his heart out, he hadn't seen his sister in years, she was now here. Him and his mum never got on, and he wanted to fix the loose ends before it was too late. Brax had punched him. The only positive thing to happen to him is that he had Charlie, Kate and Tom.

Angelo smiled looking at his sister before opening his mouth, 'So you wanna meet you nephew and your sister in law?'

'I would love that'

Charlie was at home, she had consistently tried calling Angelo 40 times, with no answer every time. She huffed before looking at Tom.

'I'm hungry'

'It's ok, Daddy will be home soon'

just as Charlie said that Angelo came through the door holding his sister and laughing.

'OMG, you couldn't help yourself could you'

'Charlie it's not what you think babe'

'Yeah well what is it'

'Daddy I am hungry'

'Ok mate, daddy will make you something in a minute, this is Kate, my sister'

Charlie blinked at Angelo before realising she underestimated him.

Charlie smiled kissing Angelo before smiling at Kate. Angelo picked Tom up kissing him and cuddling him, 'You hungry mate'

'Yes daddy, I love you'

'Love you to mate'

Charlie smiled at Angelo before rubbing his back, 'Babe I thought you were cheating on me'

'No No No, I just got you back, I never want to lose you' he said kissing her lips.

'Oi you two lovers, you wanna feed your kid'

'My kid' Angelo smiled. 'I was married but my wife died just after he was born'

'Oh so how'd you meet Charlie'

'My ex' Angelo smiled before looking at Tom.

'Com-on mate, pasta?'

'No, Pizza'

'No pasta'

'OK but you have to read me a bedtime story.

'yes mate'

After Tom had eaten and Angelo had just put him to bed, he walked out to the girls who were drinking wine and laughing, making small side jokes at Angelo.

'Hey girls'

'Hey baby, hows Tom?'

'asleep'

'OK'

'Um Angelo can I crash here tonight?' Kate asked.

'yeah'

'i got the bed with Angelo' Charlie laughed.

'Of course you do babe'

'You two are so in love'

Angelo smiled before giving his sister some sheets and clean pillows, 'I have a spare room on the left, enjoy' he said hugging her.

Charlie smiled at Kate before she headed for the bedroom, once she reached it, Charlie jumped over and kissed Angelo, I have missed so much, she laughed before undoing his buttons through kisses.

'I love you' she said

'I love you more' Angelo said lifting her into his bedroom.
