Even if you were drunk Nicole would have been really scared I mean the guy she loves attacks her god knows how she still let's him near the kids! I didn't think it would come across as two different perspectives but I am glad you thought it did Aha, so something is going on with Angelo Can't believe he'd attack her in his normal self? Or would he? I suppose this is a fic so he could be different. Hm... Ah so you spotted it...there are a few more things to be revealed... I'm not sure, knowing the truth now, they can ever get back to the way things were. They may try, but that trust may never come back, particularly if she's going to keep living in fear that something like that can happen again. Even if she doesn't necessarily think it would and that she can trust him, she's got the children to consider as well (a point you're doing an amazing job of getting across.) Thanks Amy I am not promising a reunion but they might try... god knows how she still let's him near the kids! Thats why Roo is there..she doesnt trust him yet.. I'm glad Angelo's not trying to excuse what he did and he sounds like he's taking responsibility for it, which is good. However, it makes Nicole determination to stay away from him, and keep the children away, seem twice as justified as it already was, especially if there's even the slightest fear in her mind that something like this may happen again. It must be such a fearful situation for her, and it's probably damaged a lot of the trust she has in him. It's a tough situation too, because Nicole's been keeping the children away for their own protection and they're so young that they don't understand . I hope, for their sakes, this situation can at least be calmed somehow. Not necessarily through forgiveness, but at least through civilisation of some sort. He was aware that he was drunk & obviously didn't know what he was doing & I'm glad he doesn't condone his behaviour. So that was very well written, well done. Loved Roman & Roo at the beginning. & I completely agree with the above comment about the children & that they are so young & wouldn't understand the hurt & pain Nicole is going through. & it will definitely take time for Nicole to completely trust him even around the children.
