She deserved that much at least from her. ‘Kind of, in the end he worked it out’ Roo said gently, she didnt want to make Nicole feel uncomfortable. Aww, I love how Roo so obviously wants to protect Nicole too, so sweet. ‘I need to warn Angelo’ she said but more to herself than for Roo. Look at Nicole, thinking of warning Angelo. Bless her!!! She didn’t know why she told Roo, it wasn't exactly something she had to verbalise but for some reason, she felt like Roo was a mother figure, maybe it was because she had been there for her when no one else was? She couldn’t quite put her finger on it but whatever the reason was, she was incredibly grateful to have her in her life. That's just adorable. Roo and Nic's relationship is so precious. He still tried to hurt her and the alcohol is no excuse she thought to herself but she didn’t verbalise it because she knew that Nicole was strong enough to make her own decision and she respected her enough not to interfere. I think that's right. Roo interfering wouldn't help matters, given that she has emotional connections to everyone. ‘I have to be strong and I had to forgive him, I mean I owe the children that much’ she justified. I just adore motherly!nicole. He still wasn’t able to process the fact that Roo had kept it from him but if he was completely honest with himself, it was not Roo he was angry with; it was Nicole because she should have trusted him. Perfect line! I think it sums up Roman's anger and hurt perfectly. Dad's are just like that too. He couldn’t stop thinking about it, it was making him feel crazy but he knew that when it came to Nicole, he was never going to stop worrying. When did you ever stop worrying about your kids or your life? Awww. He shouldn’t worry so much but he couldn’t help it, she was his baby girl and that wasn’t going to change, not now & not ever. Such an amazing line to end the chapter on. I'm quite excited for the prospect of an eventual Roman/Angelo showdown (if we get one.). Red Ranger 1 Posted June 22, 2011 Report Share Posted June 22, 2011 Okay, sounds like Nicole knows what was making Angelo drink.Even if we don't.I'm sort of apprehensive about Nicole hugging Angelo and letting him sleep on the couch, it'll be good if they can get over things but I don't think it'll be that easy...And I'm kinda scared Roman will see him there!
