I know it's not a talk about them, as in their relationship (I'm still scared/sad/worried there may never now be one.), but I like the fact they're actually going to talk about the children. It's hardly something they can avoid. Roo walked in ‘I will’ Nicole nodded as Roman looked at them both ‘Hold on why?’ ‘Angelo trusts me. It is easier for me to do it’ That could be interesting. Knowing they're history, having Roo supervise Angelo with the children could really help, especially since she's been there from the start and they both trust her. Roman sighed, he didn’t like the situation, if he had his way, he would have had Angelo ‘dealt’ with a long time ago, but he had to accept that Nicole had made her decision, she had to do what was best for her. Whilst I don't like the idea of how exactly Roman may "deal" with Angelo, given the chance, I do like his father instincts. He's 100% behind Nicole and it's so sweet. ‘Dad?’ He needed to be alone and he sensed that Nicole was struggling with the decision. He knew on some level that she wanted to be with Angelo. Again, I like the fatherly insticts. Particularly how he's aware that Nicole may want to salvage something with Angelo, and the fact he's so worried about it all. Perfectly portrayed. ‘I am prepared to offer you a deal, so that we don’t have to drag the kids through the courts, it is hard enough’ Angelo nodded agreeing ‘I will do anything to make it easier for them’ Well, at least they're actually thinking of themost important thing here: The children. It could be so easy to get caught up in making this about their relationship, but they're not doing that. Quite mature. ‘I get full and permanent custody’ she said bluntly. Nicole’s word hit Angelo bang into his chest, he felt like she had pulled his heart out. ‘Are you serious?’ Oh blimey. She nodded ‘I can’t trust you, but I don’t want to hurt the children, they don’t deserve that’ she responded. ‘I can’t agree to that’ ‘Fine, Morag has already told me, that with the restraining order, I have the best case at the moment to get full custody, this deal is your best opportunity to get anywhere near the children’ ‘So you will use the children to get back at me’ Nicole glared at him ‘I would never use the children as a weapon, I hate you for what you did to me but the children are the innocent ones, Rob and Mia love you and I don’t want that to change’ Things could get really messy here. Not sure if this is going to work all too well. Custody battles make me nervous and I fear that's where all this could be headed. I miss them being a happy family. . See? I'm all deflated. I can't believe this is only part 5, and they've gone through SO much already. . Another fab update though. Glad you decided to post and not prolong the wait.
