I love how, even though Ruby has been through something horrible, she still wants Charlie to be happy. and its nice that she is ok with Charlie been with Brax

 “No” Charlie shook her head “Brax believes you”

“Really?” Ruby questioned and Charlie nodded lightly. “I thought he’d be on Casey’s side”

 “I don’t know” Charlie shook her head “He’s Casey’s brother and Casey.....what he did, Ruby I....I can’t possibly date the brother of your....” Charlie shook her head as she pursed her lips together.

“Mum, I get where you’re coming from and I appreciate that you’re putting me before you own happiness, but I honestly wouldn’t have a problem with you dating Brax, if it’s what you wanted” Ruby said “I just want you to be happy too”

 “What do you think Jacob? Should Mummy date Brax?” Ruby questioned.

“No” Jacob shook his head.

“No?” Charlie questioned “You won’t even think about it?”

“No” Jacob yawned before he rubbed his eyes and held him hands out to go to Charlie. “Bankie” Jacob said, wanting his blanket.

 “Dirty, violated, dirty some more” Ruby said as she continued to look straight in front out her. “I don’t really feel so good” Ruby said as a tear rolled down her cheek. “And to top it all off, I cheated on you”

“Rubes, you didn’t cheat one me. You didn’t want this”

“But I did” Ruby cried “I kissed Casey. I cheated on you and I got what I deserved” Ruby finally looked around at Xavier

 “If he was still standing, I’d say you didn’t hit him enough” Ruby said.

 “Might not want to threaten someone’s life in front of a cop” Charlie said “But also, you might want to get in line behind me and Brax”

I so hope she is going to Brax! That was a lovely chapter, glad Ruby is okay with Charlie seeing Brax.

I really hope Charlie and Brax can work it out, for good this time. Brax stills needs to start getting along with Jacob though, but I guess if he is nice to the little guy and he plays with him for a bit, it will be okay! I can't wait for some fatherly scenes (witnessed by Charlie of course). Hope you update soon! I am loving it!
