Where did Ben's outburst come from? That seemed quite random and a bit out of character.

Couldn't agree more. Talk about a forced fight!! It was such a random outburt, so over the top!!

I've been surprised by Sophie lately. I get it, old habits die hard, and she was brought up under a conman, but it's disappointing to see her up to these tricks, first conning the old lady and then with the cans. I thought those days were behind her. Obviously not. And if I were Blake, I'd love her hot pants.

Keep an eye out for an early appearance from Rebecca George (aka Lara Fitzgerald) in the next episode - which ties in with

Vicki Baxter's final appearance

Is it me or does a lot of the scenes in the diner appear to have "remixes" of songs popular at the time. I'm sure I remember something that sounded like a Madonna song, and 596 appears to have the some variation of the Lambada playing in the diner whilst Alf and Ailsa speak about Blake.

Hadn't noticed that.... just listened to that scene and it certainly does sound like a Lambada remix of some form (big fan of that song :P). I know they've always had an ongoing licensing agreement with Mushroom Records, which would let them use normal songs/instrumentals, but don't have a clue about this remix business. Might have just been some production library music that's "in the style of", seen that a few times.
