So far 1990 has just seemed 'weird' to me. I can't keep up with it. No Pippa, that doesn't help, and so many new characters. Ben proposing and Carly accepting, unbelievable. I'm not really enjoying it a whole lot.

My PVR recorded the right show for once (Its done this to several other shows I recorded. I swear its got a mind of its own).

So Ben has known Carly all of ten minutes and he's asked her to marry him and she said yes? But they barely know each other! I guess it doesn't matter if this is true love?

Poor Celia and the death of her bike. The look on her face. I hope the boys buy her a new one. Idiots.

And is it just me or is there a bit of bromance going on between Grant and Ben? I like their friendship.

Excuse me, but what do you mean by "true love"??? How can you determine "true love" in such a short space of time? .... I mean ..... come on!!!! You have to get to know one another properly before you can find love and make sure it is true, No????????????????

Grant and Ben conspired to the lewdness between Ben and Carly with that stupid "fight", so Ben could have his already over-extended penis extended even more. Those FOREPLAY SCENES of Ben and Carly in Episode 489 are so revolting I am surprised they ever made it to air!!

Don't forget how flighty Carly can be and has been time and time again. This is so typical of what she does so I'm not surprised in the slightest. I think its quite true to character.

This episode was largely free of the Ben ****s Carly bull****, except for "Pippa"'s welcome home. Baby "Christopher" appears for the first time since he was a noisy, squeaking thing in a cot — he appears to have grown into a toddler quite quickly. Emma is cross about Grant taking over from Andrew Foley, Mr Fisher advises Grant to come to school more suitably dressed than his T-shirt with left-wing political slogan, and Mr Fisher blows his stack when he finds Grant exhausting the students with a noisy party with music in class. Vinegar Tits blackmails Alsa into giving away some of her profits to the starving people of Africa. Vicky Baxter learns how to forge Viv's handwriting and at the end of the episode, writes Steven a fake love letter to welcome him home.
