Old H&A Fan Posted October 29, 2011 Report Posted October 29, 2011 Old H&A fan you should give your customers what they want. A lot of us like the Carly and Ben storyline. Home and Away is a tv show Can't someone else open a shop? I wouldn't mind the competition, and it would divide the workload.
Red Ranger 1 Posted October 29, 2011 Report Posted October 29, 2011 Seen up to 515.I was a bit up and down with Lance over his last few episodes, he seemed unnecessarily grumpy at times and a bit mean to people but I guess Martin was his soul mate.I admit when Sally started crying I was welling up a bit as well. After a bit of a dip during the wedding venue period, Ben does seem to have got his sensible head back on and be trying to rein in Carly's flights of fancy.I'm not sure what was supposed to be wrong with the house the estate agent offered them, it seemed to be a fairly decent place.I do kind of agree with Carly not wanting to rent, it does mean a lot of outgoing for no end result.Bobby seemed to get herself confused with Roo when she said she and Frank started out in a caravan;they started out in the Diner flat, then lived with Don.Continuity's snarled up and it's only 1990.(Actually, continuity was snarled up by about Episode 30...) Alf and Emma's spat did seem a bit over the top but I kind of liked the scene where they both made it up to each other.Wasn't too keen on Sophie when she seemed a bit smug about hiding her secret even after the accident but I was glad she confessed to protect Adam, I really wasn't keen on the way Pippa kept having a go at him when he was clearly upset and sorry about what happened. Surprised we haven't seen Sophie since then, guess the whole 75 straight episodes thing is definitely a myth.(I did think, from looking at synopses, especially near the end of the year, that Grant seemed to be in every episode but that hasn't been that obvious.)

Home and Away is a tv show To be honest I think that is a bit rich. As he said, he is doing it voluntarily and it seems that if he has been the supplier of episodes, without his time and effort a lot of people wouldn't even have the opportunity to watch them. It isn't like you are paying him for the episodes. Unless I've missed something.
Ryan Posted October 29, 2011 Report Posted October 29, 2011 I agree Alexx. Anyway, back to the episodes and because I've not been seeing them daily, I can feel my interest drift slightly. It's hard to think that when we reach the 2 year anniversary (on Tuesday?), how excited it was to hear about them that they've almost become second nature. Oh, Lance/Martin leave today etc, ah, well, that can wait. I do feel though that the first half of 1990 does seem an improvement on the second half of 1989. The show does go through a rough 2-3 months with Bunyips, Image etc. I do feel up to say, Dodge leaving 1989 was very good.
b2sb09 Posted October 30, 2011 Report Posted October 30, 2011 Marilyn is far too trusting at times, I'm just glad the guy turned out to be legit, plus, it was fun watching Alf apologise. I like the school scenes, it's a shame the newer episodes really don't concentrate on this part of life much these days. It's a little weird seeing Ma Braxton playing Melody.

Are they still going out or do they see other people? I wish Sophie would make a commitment to learning how to read without letting other people teasing her put her off.
