**** IMPORTANT NOTICE — TENNIS COVERAGE ****

Recently there has been concern regarding the tennis coverage's threat this year to 7TWO's current Home And Away repeat run. It is believed that due to the need to satisfy tennis followers with live coverage, while maintaining consistency with timezones, standby programming has replaced The Early Years, possibly to maintain consistency in the episode ordering (NOTE: THIS IS MY GUESS ONLY, SEE CAVEATS BELOW)

Unfortunately, I can now confirm from a source on good authority the repeat run will not be escaping the tennis this year.

As for whether Home And Away: The Early Years will return after the tennis, this is still speculation, but what I can say is, based on the verified evidence regarding Seven's tennis commitments, when the tennis finishes, there is still a good chance 7TWO will return The Early Years, but sadly the risk of The Early Years being forgotten still cannot be ruled out.

IMPORTANT — I am not an authority on the inner workings of the Seven Network. I am just as much in the dark as you are, and can only go by Internet rumours that have to be backed up by official sources in order to confirm what the future is after this the biggest disruption to the repeat run since 7TWO began 2 years ago.

Please don't ask me to comment about things like why episodes between the years 1990 and 1995 being skipped due to 'contractual reasons'. These are just 'Internet rumours' and are not to be taken as fact and gospel.

At the moment, for the next 2 weeks or however long the tennis goes on for, we can only hope and pray Home And Away: The Early Years will return to

7TWO at 9am as per normal.

....and Sons & Daughters too....

Talent Quest - what a fizzer that was!!!

Steven's 'surprise act' of Elvis was boring; Sally got stuck into poor Mullet (again); Ben looked like he was going to be sick with Carly spoon feeding him and Paul just played a song that we've previously heard....

Sophie running off was also no surprise....

The highlight of the show was the man playing the spoons :P

Adam - didn't realise he could be so nasty and spiteful....full marks to Paul for not backing down.....

Merry Christmas to all!!! Just remember that Santa never stops in Summer Bay :D

Man I love that song!!!

It also, just 14 months on feels like another show.

Hey I liked the talent quest and try to remember it was 1990. I honestly thought Mullets mistakes were part of the show it was good. I really feel sorry for Sophie. Adam is such an idiot why can't he just accept Emma dumped him and leave Paul alone? Adam is an adult and Paul is just a kid. But Paul is more mature than Adam. Even blind Freddy could see that

I don't see the point of this boxing match. It's pointless. The whole storyline is pointless. Adam really should move on.

I'm glad Sophie finally opened up to Pippa and that she goes back to school.

Adam's problem is that he views Emma as a prized possession (most likely because she is one of the best looking girls in the Bay) and that's why he wants her back.

Emma has sensed this and it is disputed as to whether Adam actually has any genuine feelings for her.

As it has been said, Adam needs to move on...

I might've found the Talent Quest more enjoyable if it had that 'ordinary' tap dancer who auditioned a few episodes back....she made me fall off my chair laughing!!!

Mullet's new image....what the???

Emma may be one of the best-looking chicks in Summer Bay but her attitude STINKS and no decent guy should reward her by going out with her and supporting her bitchy attitudes. Paul(ine) is too young to have girlfriends.
