Mullets new look and wanting to be pop star he looks better as normal Mullet. I wish Sally would call him Mullet instead of Murray. The way he pressured her into dying his hair alothough glad to see Mullet has a bit of back bone of weeks of being treated like dirt by Sally.

Poor Carly all she wants to do is spend some time alone with Ben. Why can't he just trust Pippa with his car?

Do you think Sally is starting to get nervous about being a 'star'? Funny how the roles have reversed.

Really enjoyed all that Sophie stuff this and last week. I've always liked those type of plots where a regular character bonds with a guest character over something or learns something from them. And it was nice to see Sophie show her trust in Pippa.

Enjoyed all the Carly/Ben stuff. Glad Bobby and Chris are over, I think it was the weakest storyline over the last week or so, as in I found it boring and slightly unbelievable.

Adam is being selfish and obviously won't let Emma go because he doesn't want to have his pride dented - I don't think he loves or wants to be with her.

Enjoying the dynamics at Summer Bay House.

Its a shame we have to wait two weeks before we see how Ben and Carly get out of that one! haha I'd like it if the show came back with two episodes back to back every morning. I suppose we'll find out if its coming back at all next week when the TV guides are released.

[it's kind of funny but many of the characters that I really like (Martin, Lance, Andrew, Viv) seem to be ones that have left (or are leaving) and ones that many H&A Forum members don't particularly like :( I take the point that Viv's character was under-developed and going nowhere, there was so much potential to build it up after being abused for so long....and you're right, Mouche Phillips is a very convincing actor...for that reason I shall miss her character....

As for Andrew, he was in some ways the predecessor to Grant Mitchell....I can even remember in one episode the students (maybe Emma???) was saying that Grant was not a patch on Andrew.....I was sad to see him go....like Martin & Lance, he injected some humour into the show (viz. the canoeing incident with Stacey Macklin  ) that is sadly missing from the 2011 H&A....I can see why, however, he was not everybody's cup of tea....

You are not alone, Dibble Investments. They were all faves of mine too. I find some people's opinions downright bizarre to be honest....

Rather lost interest after the great 1990 exodus. Twas never the same again for me. :(

I really hope Home & Away the Early years comes back after the tennis coz I want to see what happens with Carly and Ben after their car got stolen while they were skinny dipping.

Lorraine now offence but way do you think you sons are bad? Wanting to be rock star and dying your hair and having a boxing match arnt the worst things your sons can do at least they are not under age drinking on taking drugs

Terrible, slow, boring, unrealistic week.

Wake me up when this Carly/Ben wedding stuff is over. The whole bit about the ring and the cake was so dull.

And this whole Paul/Adam fight is ludicrous. I love it how Paul’s mother, as well as Paul himself, are suddenly so enraged at even the sound of Grant Mitchell’s name even though he got Paul to start playing the piano which A. Paul loves and B. Paul’s mother now accepts. Yet when Don Fisher brought up his name, she lost it! Ridiculous. Paul’s okay, but his acting is rather week, and he’s got wild mood swings, flies off the handle at anything! I really can’t stand Paul’s mother, she is really irritating, and she has no reason at all to dislike Grant so much knowing now how much talent Paul has. Poor writing IMO.

A very forgettable week.

Well you won't have to worry about seeing Mrs Jensen again, that was her last episode :)

I agree that the last few weeks have been super-boring (this wedding business and the council elections are just dragging on excessively) but the Paul/Adam rivalry is something that I've really enjoyed, if for no other reason than to have a big laugh....I had a great chuckle when Paul punched Adam in the mouth and the ensuing scuffle at the Diner.....made a boring week much more watchable :D

Totally agree. IMO This time of the show is far worse then 97-99 that always gets a slating.

I dont think it picks up properly for a few months yet. But I have every thing crossed they will put it back on as I am dying to see 1991 eps that I have never seen before.

I really want to see the 1991 season too!

I can understand why people think it's been a rough period the last couple of weeks but I think it's to be expected to a certain extent - we've lost Lance, Martin, Tom and Celia all in a very short space of time and I think the show's just adjusting without them.

And actually I've been enjoying it a lot. Late 89 is far worse IMO. I've loved the stuff with Ernie Jacobs, he is hilarious and Matt/Adam/Marilyn make a wonderful household. Matt is one of my favourite characters at the moment, the writers have really developed Adam, Matt and Marilyn in the last few weeks.

I think possibly the variety night is letting things down, it's hardly rivetting stuff and I do wonder why nobody has told Sally that her act sucks, and Sophie isn't as good a signer as they're making out! I had to laugh at Adam telling the girls how his magic act worked. I certainly wouldn't trust someone like him with a chainsaw

Lets pray it returns on thr 16th :(

I agree with you Edward, I'm enjoying this period more than late 1989 which I started to find monotonous.

Well I suppose we'll find out within the next week whether it will be back! Hopefully.
