1990 Episode Discussion

There was one small problem with the double-episodes: they cut out the closing credits for the first episode and the opening credits AND the beginnings from the second episode. For that reason I didn't like the double episodes. But if they show 2 episodes in a row per day with the opening and closing credits left intact, with no beginnings cut off, then I'd be happy with double episodes.

I agree, as petty as it might sound, having the opening & closing credits edited out ruins the show....it kills the anticipation of the next episode and it gives the feeling that the episode has been 'tampered with'.....

Seven currently airs double episodes of Sons&Daughters on Wed night and fortunately they've left the credits intact.....a good sign indeed if double episodes of H&A TEY are feasible in the future.....

Ben and his damn chooks!!! Enough to drive you insane!!!

It would be a nice storyline if it had happened really quickly, but it seems to have dominated for about a week now.

Watched quite a lot of episodes recently. I thought it was quite interesting in the episode where Tom dies (526), how the closing credits had changed, but the opening credits had stayed the same, almost signifying that "era" had now finished already.

More up to date, and I can't believe the council election storyline is still going. What's that? 50 episodes now. I know it's not really taken any episodes over and it's really just been used for fun stories along the way, add to the fact council elections don't take a week in real life, but it is beginning to wear.

Been said elsewhere, but Jo Mitchell's acting is horrendous.

I'm sure we'll say it again in the future, but it is a very different show to the one we were watching 2 years ago and has now very much become the show it was for at least the next ten years.

Adam & Marilyn's blackmail tactics over Ernie Jacobs certainly were effective. Thoughts???

I underestimate Marilyn quite a bit. She can be quite cunning and smart when she wants to be. I think they are safe now in their home and it was sweet of Adam giving her a kiss. :)

Pippa and the chooks are funny! I love light-hearted storylines like this.

And how long do we have to endure the awful Jo Mitchell?? (I know we are not supposed to comment on the acting, but I had to say it)

I think she is kinda cute!♥ The "acting" may be due to the fact she is a police officer and feels she has to uphold the law, unbendingly and like a robot. A lot of police seem to act and sound rather like robots.

You're allowed to comment on an actors acting, it is their job. What we try and discorage people from doing would be "What a Tub of Lard that Mat Stevenson is. He needs to go on a diet." To be honest, the only character I can really think ther was a problem with is Orange Sharni Vinson.

I guess because I've seen relationship scenes it sort of nullifies this point slightly, but we like our police to have authority, Jo Mitchell in her age, stature, everything, has no authority as a police officer.

I can't take her seriously as a cop. I hope her acting does get better.
