I really like the music that is used when Carly and Ben say their vows, it's very romantic.

As for the Fletcher theme, when do they stop using it? I am sure I saw it used during a Ross house scene around 1995ish in an episode uploaded on youtube but I can't find it now. It seems wrong to think of it being used with Michael and Pippa#2, and Shannon, Jack etc. I always think of it as exclusively tied to the original Fletcher family and those original foster kids.

Thank goodness the wedding is over - don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the storyline of Ben having to rush back to the Bay and have even enjoyed Ben's family stirring things up a bit!!!

But the whole wedding story just dragged on for far too long in my opinion and it's a relief to have it finalised and move on with new stories....

We've still got the reception which I've seen and then on Wednesday, another final episode. The actual episode description makes me laugh.

The friendship between Donald and Pippa will never be quite the same

I did find the wedding episodes seem to be lacking in cast slightly - it didn't have that community feel that Frank's had had.

The lack of cast/extras in the church was embarrassing!! Wasn't there originally a big drama over Ben's enormous family having to travel from Perth? There were like 3 people on his side. And Carly's side wasn't much better.

Does anyone know whether Ray Meagher actually injured his leg in real life and so the fall needed to be worked into the script or whether it was all show?

Are you sure your not just using Carly to vent out your bitterness towards someone you've met in real life? I don't think she's a snob.

What do you mean you don't think she's a snob? Have you forgotten the way she goes shopping rather than help the Fletcher family? Like the time when "Pippa" needed help with the washing and cleaning up, Carly would rather look for a fancy, expensive new dress to impress her new boyfriend Ben?

And what about the way she spent hundreds of dollars on curtains against Ben's orders not to abuse his credit card! And the way Carly wants to spend millions on a luxury mansion, while Ben isn't fussed if he shacks up with his girlfriend in a dog kennel. Also, the way she gets jealous when she sees Ben so much as talking to any other chicks, I'd call that possessiveness, is it not?

And what about her self-righteous attitude when defending her recklessly rushed relationship with Ben? Accepting his marriage proposal just days after he set foot in the Bay! How ridiculous!!

Now, can you tell me Carly's not a snob???

Vanessa Downing, I'm gonna miss you!!!

I know the Pippa debate gets trotted out regularly but Vanessa will always be Pippa to me....I've watched the show since '88 and it's only natural for me to think of her as the real Pippa....

Debra Lawrence = good - Vanessa Downing = best
