I don't actually remember the circumstances of why they changed shops so that will be interesting to find out.

I'll spoiler it out in case you don't want to know.

Alf has money troubles (I forget what exactly happens) and has to sell the store.

It happens in Episode 710, so just over 100 episodes to go.

I do remember something silly about Ailsa signing a paper on behalf of Alf and owership of the shop going to her by mistake.

I seem to remember Ailsa buying the new store for Alf as a surprise but him not wanting it. That could be what the summary for Episode 733 refers to.

Great episode, really enjoying alll of the Emma stuff. Quite a touching scene shared between Emma and Ailsa - reminded me of her relationship with Bobby in 1988. The 2012 show is so greatly lacking in these sort of scenes, they are very few and far between.

It's a shame Ailsa doesn't buy the store for herself and leave the Diner to Bobby. Ailsa was much better in the general store IMO.

Why oh why would they play with a real cricket ball? Seriously?

I was asking myself why, thinking it was stupid, until it landed on Donald's windscreen. The it suddenly all made sense...

I fancy Blake a bit myself. :P

I'm glad Donald told them the truth about the jug. And loved Alf teasing Don about it.

Its great that Marilyn's put all her effort into school and people didn't think she'd take it seriously or go through with it.

Carly says to Grant she and Ben had their "first" fight??? FIRST??? Excuse me???? What about all the other times they have fought, like about her misuse of his credit card, and fussing over her mansion he said she couldn't have? You mean to say they weren't actually FIGHTS, just arguments?????:unsure:

I think she meant as a married couple.

It was certainly ooc for Ben for throwing a hissy fit like that. I actually felt sorry for Carly-just a bit but she did keep nagging at him to get a job. He knows how to find a job Carly. He's not 12.

Sophie is such a good conman, but she needs to grow out of it. I love her friendship with Sally. She kind of adopted Sally as her younger sister from the moment she met her at the Fletcher household.

Great, she's back. The show and Grant will be better off without that horrible Jane Holland.

The things you find on old VCR tapes!!! Just found a H&A advert from 1989, this one's about Danny Price disappearing from the Bay!!! Also found an old Neighbours advert from 1989 on the same tape with Jim

Robinson & Des, complete with Harold Bishop (full head of dark hair)....

Already had a H&A 1989 advert with Marty on it (which is very valuable to me :D )
