In Chapter Eight the twist was an interesting one although the conversation at the end seems to be missing something.... It might be a good idea to finish the chapter properly otherwise we won't get the gist of the conversation or if there's anything else happening that the readers need to know about before the next chapter.

You were right! It was missing the next few lines to end the chapter! My net must've faltered because it came up with this "Internal error" and I refreshed and it posted, but I never noticed it was missing the end of that chapter. Thanks for pointing it out for me Thanks again. I've also edited the post, to finish it off. Also left a note explaining the edit. Thanks all the rest too. I'll post up soon.

This chapter is more about Heath defending his brother and surprisingly the love that Brax has for Charlie. Chapter 9 - You Made That Mistake. Heath and Roman stood staring at each other for moments, what felt as if it was years. It mattered to Heath, because Roman took away Brax's girl at the time. The thought of Roman taking someone else away from Brax angered the life out of him. "I sure hope you are not here to make Charlie leave my brother," said Heath. "She deserves better," said Roman. "And you're that 'better' I guess?" asked Heath. Brax and Charlie slipped behind the bar and just watched on. "I suppose I am," said Roman, smiling. "No. You're not. All you do is take people away from the one they loved, you hurt Brax, and you'd hurt him again," said Heath. Roman sniggered, "I'll let Charlie decide, not you thanks." "I've already decided, it's Brax," reminded Charlie. "Battle lost, Harris, now get out," said Heath. "I won't be leaving town until Charlie see's what kind of man he is," said Roman. "Yeah, and what if that happens? When really, if he loves someone he'll be that honest, decent bloke everyone's contemplating about. But what if he's the bad man you say he is, will you jump in and take over his father role? Or is that what you want? A baby with Charlie, the girl my brother loves?" asked Heath, anyone could tell he was getting agitated. "Not in the entirety," said Roman. "Means you do," said Brax. "That's where you made that mistake," said Heath. "What's the supposed to mean?" asked Roman. "Charlie, please don't report me for this, but you know exactly what I mean. First it was Tegan now you want to take Charlie away from him. You'll back off or I'll make sure you will regret every ounce of the decision you made," growled Heath, "Now there's the door. Don't let it hit you on the way out." Heath walked to the bar, "Can I have whisky shot please?" "Sure thing, Bro," said Brax. Roman left angry and confused. Charlie felt awkward, "That was weird. Him thinking he can control me and we haven't been together in like almost 2 years." "I see, well I don't know much about how Brax is feeling. But I know a idiot when I see one, I sure hope he won't be bothering you two any longer. Congrats on the pregnancy. I guess I can be happy for my brother," said Heath looking at Charlie. "Thanks," said Charlie. Brax held out a hand and Heath shook it. "Thanks, man. I'm glad you understand. You can take my place in the gang," said Brax. Heath smiled and left the happy couple to be with each other for a bit.

And that's all at the same time! Which is just great! Anyway, wow, an amazing fic so far. I love the character portrayal and interaction. Fantastic ... brilliantly written. Well done.
