My guess is the actress schedule otherwise why wouldn't they write her in the scene?

She's only a recurring character, there was no real need for her in the scenes when Brax was shot. The main focus there was Brax/Charlie and Heath trying to step into Brax's shoes. There was no real need for Ma Braxton to be on screen. Just assume she was told and was there off screen.

I enjoy her a lot but I don't think I could cope with her as a regular character. She's fine in small doses but maybe we could have a few more small doses.

True. I think if we saw he all the time it might get annoying.

I know she may not have time to film scenes non stop but she can atleast comment on stuff like accidents.

I would have liked to have seen her interact with Kyle's mum (although someone said she died when Kyle was young) or someone close to him when he lived in Melbourne

I think that it's been stated on Home and Away's official website that Kyle's mother died as a result of her alcoholism and her addiction worsened after Danny went to jail.

I don't think it's been explicitly stated on screen though, so the story could easily change to fit a particular storyline.
