Charlie sighed lightly before biting her lip. “No. It’s not.” Charlie said. “But you know it’s not a healthy way of grieving.” Ruby and Jacob were outside playing soccer, Jacob loving all the time he was getting with his big sister. “I’m going to take this one for a drive. Sometimes it’ll settle her.” Charlie pulled up the car at the beach. She’d finally managed to get Riley to stop crying after almost an hour of driving around. She switched of the ignition before she got out of the car and walked around to the back door and opened it, lifting Riley out into her arms before walking down and talking a seat on the beach, resting her daughter against her legs. “Now Riley isn’t it better when you’re all happy and quiet like this.” Charlie cooed as she lightly rubbed her daughter’s cheek. Riley looked up to Charlie and her big blue eyes widened as she listened to her Mother. “It is.” Charlie nodded. Riley let out a gurgle of excitement as she kicked her legs excitedly before giving her mother a big gummy smile. “Aww baby.” Charlie grinned. “You got your first smile for Mummy. Aww it’s awfully nice.” Charlie said as once again Riley let out a gurgle. “All you have to do is be there for him.” “I don’t know how.” Charlie shook her head. “Bianca, I hated Casey for what he did. How am I supposed to help Brax if the person he is grieving for was my daughter’s ra....” Charlie trailed off, still unable to say the word rape. “Because no matter what he did, he was still Brax’s brother.” Bianca sighed. “Don’t think about what Casey did, but just of Casey the person, Casey Braxton. Brax’s little brother.” “It’s fine.” Ruby smiled. “We’ve had a great morning, eh Jacob.” “Yeah.” Jacob nodded before he took a bite of his toastie. “Was bestest fun.” “I no have school.” Jacob shook his head. “Thems are closed for us holiday.” “Eh.” Ruby said forgetting the fact that the schools were off this week. “The schools in Sydney are different.” “Oh.” Jacob nodded accepting his sister’s answer Quote

Sorry was away yesterday to stay with my grandparents for one night as we had celebrated my grandma's 77th birthday today Now am home back on my laptop, hehe I hope Brax gets his drinking problem sorted out soon. I like that Brax and Bianca are buddies and can talk abouit cheaters but that would completely devastate Charlie and they have enough relationship stuff to work through. Your writing is fab and I love it...I literally have knots hoping that you're not going that route.. Please no Can't get past cheaters Nice to have Ruby still around and you can sense her worry for her Mum and Brax. Hope that Chax can start talking to eachother and both give support thats needed.
