With the way it's being run at the moment I estimate it will last maybe 3-5 years. The storylines being churned out at present just aren't up to scratch and every episode has the same tired and 'samey' feel.

I said more than 10 years because you may think there's nowhere else to go with the show but they're are so many things they could do with it

I voted more than 10 years as well. The show has to keep evolving to ensure its survival, but at the same time not lose its roots as well.

I think Neighbours will sustain itself despite it's inconsistent ratings on ELEVEN at the moment. It's too popular in Britain for it to go extinct.

I think it's already done that. Who knows how long it will go on for though. Ten years is a long time if you think back to what both H&A and Neighbours were like in 2003. But the format is so open that I can see it going on and on. Whether I'll ever like it again I suppose I'll have to wait and see. If they just build on the current format going forward, I wont be tuning in. It's not my kind of show.
