I'd say Rev Head has always been more than just a bit dodgy. Okay, so in his last stint week saw that he cared about his sister and was reliable at work. But there was still a violence there. And what about his other appearances? Vandalising Adam's yatch and who knows what him and his mates were going to do to Roo before Carly, Bobby and Adam stepped in. When he is shaking Roo, I have to say its still one of the most violent scene in Home and Away.

As for Karen I think she is angry with the whole world. She clearly has some self hate issues. No boys she liked took interest in her when she was Miss Nice. And then when she threw herself at Adam he still didn't want her. In the back of her mind she may have doubts that he cares, but he's still paying her attention.

I think it was planned before as the final result of this story also effects other characters greatly.

I agree to a point, although aside from his attack on Roo, which I agree was extremely nasty, no-one really took Revhead seriously in the '80s.But it seems like they made him...if not good then certainly someone who had good and bad qualities during his last stint, then since he's been back that's suddenly all gone and he's just a thug and a loser.I guess there is a certain issue about Karen ultimately just wanting to be liked, hence her going along with Revhead and previously with Tracey where she was easily manipulated into helping her despite her doubts.

Blaxland, regarding the reference to when Roo was "shaken up" in "one of the most violent scenes in Home And Away", going by the cryptic references to when Carly was (ahem) "attacked", was there any evidence that Revhead or any of his mates were unzipping their pants to .... arrr ..... "do anything"? Or is it just the way they called her a "slag" and cornered her like a pack of vicious big bulldogs ganging up on a little dog?

Well said about Karen not being liked by decent guys, and yes it was wrong for Alf to break her and Adam up at the drive-in I mean what were they doing really wrong? They were just kissing for Christ sake!

Oh and as for David, he's about to pay the ultimate price, just you wait! And I'm sorry, but I have got no sympathy for those who be .... err ..... "left behind" when he gets knocked off.

He says "we're gonna show you how we have a good time. You're a really goer", Read into that what you will. For some reason that scene when you is shaking Roo made more inpact on me as a viewer that Sally being stabbed of Noah being shot.

I think Revhead explained it best in a post a few years ago when he commented how the Ross family dissolving in 1994 hit him hard because it made you think if it could happen to them, it could happen to his family as well. We've probably all felt uneasy walking down the street in the dark, I'm sure less of us are worrying about getting stabbed after we are embroiled in gangland violence or being shot by drug-riddled stalkers.

Can't believe we are nearly

at the End of the Sophie/David story and Karen time on the show

While one had been very quick, the other has been going on a very long time now.

However

Sophie's story seem to have more long term conquences rather than Karens

So Ailsa and Alf believe that Karen and Revhead did hit Alf and rob his store Karen thinks she's putting one over them, how wrong she is.

Will Pippa's plan to break up Sophie and David work? In two weeks, they'll all find out.
