"Look, I know it’s not how you wanted this to happen, but, it obviously has for a reason." "Maybe," Charlie exhaled as she took a drink of her coffee. "I just hope it’s only one baby this time." "Ah," Brax gave a little laugh. "Might be triplets." "What?" Charlie looked panicked at even the thought. "Well the first time you got pregnant it was obviously one kid with Rubes, the second time was the twins so the third will be triplets." Brax laughed again. "Don’t even joke about that," Charlie shook her head. "One more child is plenty." "Well maybe a bit of space is a good idea then. I’m still a bit confused though, I thought she wanted to be with you?" "So did I," April sighed. "But she’s saying she’s still straight and well we’ve pashed a fair bit and straight girls don’t tend to pash other girls, do they?" "Wouldn’t think so." Charlie answered. Ruby gave a little nod. "I like her. I really like her but...." Ruby shook her head. "I don’t want to be gay. It’s not what people are supposed to be." "Says who?" Brax questioned. "Society?" "I dunno," Ruby shrugged her shoulders. "The Bible." "And you are Miss Religion, are you?" Brax questioned. "Well....no," Ruby answered quietly. "But people get a hard time for being gay. You see on the internet, you read it in the news about people being bullied because they are gay, people taking their own lives because they’ve been so badly bullied and unaccepted." "Those kind of people just aren’t worth it," Brax exhaled. "The bully’s, I mean. Not the poor guys who felt like they didn’t have another option." "Mum couldn’t do it," Ruby said. "She slept with a guy because people were giving her a hard time for being with Joey. Maybe I’m going to be the same," Ruby gave a little shrug. "I’m struggling already and I haven’t even come out." Chapter 30 - I like how supportive Dex is. I feel sorry for Heath and Bianca. Chapter 31 - I like Chax's talk. I hope Charlie lets Brax come home soon. Chapter 32 - I'm glad Ruby told Romeo the truth. I liked the Chax scenes. Chapter 33 - I'm glad Brax and Ella are getting along. I wonder what Ruby's decision will be? Chapter 34 - Wow, Charlie might be pregnant? I liked how April got Colleen to spread her news. Chapter 35 - Charlie's pregnant. I'm glad Bianca was supportive of April. Chapter 36 - I liked Brax and Ruby's talk. Looking forward to the next chapter. Quote
