Last nights was lovely, who's 'night' was it meant to be, I missed the caption at the beginning?

Tasha's, which made sense.(Today's was Angelo, if anyone didn't know.)They seem to have worked out the captions were dumb and started just telling people at the beginning of the episode.Forgot to mention the interesting work on Belle's character:The way that she starts the episode sat apart from everyone while they're congratulating Robbie and Tasha, not a part of it, then Irene and Tasha start treating her like part of the family.

Today's episode:5313 from 2011.

Oh god, don't, you'll make me cry.The golden years before I was left bluffing my way through conversations about episodes I wouldn't see for another month and railing against Channel 5 for these pointless summer breaks designed to make everyone give up on the show and watch it at Aus pace.Hard to believe it's only a few years since we got episodes a week later...

Anyway, not sure if today's was Angelo's best episode but hey, he got to punch Brax.It's always interesting watching these episodes with characters that you hated at the time but like now.Heath had a harder edge to him then(I doubt he'd be quite so cold about putting someone in hospital now or that antagonistic towards John)but also seemed more willing to argue with Brax.Interesting that Roo, as well as Bianca, was willing to stand up for him with Irene, whose dismissive attitude is in stark contrast to how fond of him she is nowadays.Given that Angelo's decision to blackmail Brax instead of turning him in seemed to be motivated by not wanting to drop Charlie in it, wonder how he felt about how that went.Still, if Charlie had actually paid attention to that "wake-up call" she might still be alive, so file under Too Dumb To Live.It always looked like Nicole's hair was on the verge of dropping out around that time but watching her here she didn't look quite as bad as I remembered.It was probably just a bad dye job.

Well, that's another episode they've been showing clips from covered.I suspect we'll have at least one, possibly two 90s episodes at some point.A lot of people seem to be claiming they voted for Dieter Brummer after all.

What's this? Red Ranger getting all sentimental! I find it difficult to fit all these back episodes in my head, as to what went before and what we now know. I thought the Summer Bay Sexiest was going to be one character each day with just shots of him/her covering the whole time they were in H&A. Like they had the shots of all 30 of them just before the break, with a grand prolonged finale with Brenton Thwaites (was it?) And why did they miss Nick Westaway off?

Pity that there is such a long break in the Casey/Tamara/Kyle storeyline. I'm longing to see how that finishes. I'm just going back over their previous episodes in demand five. And will Romeo come back?

Anyway enjoy watching for the next few weeks. I'm off to stay with friends in Zagreb tomorrow.

It always looked like Nicole's hair was on the verge of dropping out around that time but watching her here she didn't look quite as bad as I remembered.It was probably just a bad dye job.

That was exactly what I kept thinking back when these episodes aired but I just never wanted to mention it. In 2011 it really did look like the actress had completely fried her hair with bleach, which is why it looked like it was about to fall out. She isn't a natural blonde is she? I remember her in Neighbours and she had dark brunette hair that seemed like her natural colour. By 2011 the colour was great but the condition looked bad.

... I have a thing about over-bleached hair. Getting it to a pale base is awesome if you plan on putting a whacky colour on but to keep it that pale is a bitch .

I am hopeless at working out whether someone's dyed their hair or not but so far as I can tell her hair colour in Neighbours was exactly the same as it was when she joined Home and Away:

But yeah, her hair did seem to get very thin and straggly in places towards the end which didn't help the speculation about her health at the time.

Heh, its amazing how your brain can trick you into thinking something. I honestly remembered her having darker hair than that on Neighbours but I was totally wrong. But from seeing that I can see where it may have gone a little wrong. So much bleach in such a short time leaves the hair looking and feeling elasticy, verging on snapping. Happens to the best of us sometimes but it is a bitch to sort out once it hits that stage. A lot of conditioner and a trip to the hairdressers usually follows.

Which is what I think happened here.

I didn't know there was speculation about her health though.

Watching and hearing Robbie's speech it occurred to me Dex is todays Robbie.

This only occured to you now? That's been obvious from the off. Dex is Robbie 2.0 and they're both as irritating as the other.

I've sort of lost interest in this sexiest "countdown" as they keep running back to the more recent years. Guess it's not "Our" show anymore

Guys you'll never believe what I just saw in my TV guide!!!

I accidentally skipped to next Tuesday on my EPG and it said that at 4.00 and 4.25 two 2000 episodes will be shown.

The first one is where Edward breaks down after being diagnosed with Huntington's disease and the other is the lead-up to Sally's non-wedding to Kieran!

I'm so excited.
