Today's episode is 4211 from 2006.Yes, that's right.Jack and Martha's wedding.Again.I almost said a few weeks back that I hoped we didn't get that one.Oh well.At least it's got Kit in it.

The daytime episodes at the moment are definitely repeats from the previous evening so I'd guess these HA:TEY repeats are starting next week?Shame the old morning slot doesn't exist anymore, what with 5* giving over their morning schedule to teleshopping, it was more convenient than late afternoon just before the new episodes.Don't know if that's them responding to requests for older episodes, got mixed feelings, a run of continuous episodes will capture more of an audience than random episodes from all periods but it feels like we've already seen this lot and I'm not sure I've got the time to commit to an extended run.

If it is going to be an extended run then I'm all for it!

It's been well over 5 years since I saw those storylines and I'd love to see the 'everyday' episodes of that era again. I think I'd appreciate them more this time round too.

I don't care that they are repeating those 00's again because I want them for my collection. Only this time round I know what I'm doing with the recordings (last time they were in crappy quality and out of synch).

Yes, I have officially got my hopes up .

Seeing the old episodes it's clear how much Heath has changed, everyone warning Bianca off him, who would have thought than that they now would now be a happy, loving couple. In defence of Ruby she was a teenager, always a sensitive time anyway, and finds out her whole life has been a lie. Understandable mistake by Angelo when she told him Charlie had told her everything. I never saw 'Nicole' in Neighbours, but have to agree her hair did look better, guessing the character of Nicole called for her to be a dyed blonde. Occupational hazard for actresses (and sometimes actors) that they have to dye their hair for a particular part. Remind me was 'Angelo's' episode the first time Charlie finished it with Brax or the second (or maybe the third)?

Did we ever find out what happened to Edward?

Shouldn't think so, like a lot of characters who leave that have some sort of illness we rarely find out what happened to them. Romeo being a case in point, unless they make an exception this time and we get an actual ending.

Oh God. I knew we'd get the bleedin' barn explosion at some point. Same episodes, different summer.

Very tentatively welcoming a return of a rerun from the start of the C5 era. I'm surprised they've not started from 2007 given they seem obsessed with re-running the late-00s episodes.

Sorry but I'm going back to the hair thing for a second...

It could have been worse. I remember reading an interview a few months back with the actress who played Naomi on Skins where she said that they sat her in a chair and cut off most of her hair before bleaching it a really light-blonde right before filming season 3. They did the same with the actress who played Emily as well (not bleach but cut her hair into a different style and did a wonky fringe).

The things actors do for parts :o

But enough of that. Watching these specials has left my inspired to make a new thread about H&A so I think I'm gonna write up my thoughts & questions to post.

Watched the episode, might have missed the last few showings cos I actually enjoyed it apart from those last few silly minutes with the world's most gratuitous explosion, although at least Jacobsen had the decency to stay dead this time.(Still no idea what Jack's doing in that random shot of him crouching by the table, can't tell if he was near the randomly exploding gas canister or not, probably not.) Until then, the actual wedding was pretty good and you almost manage to forget that they split up straight afterwards, took two years to get back together, then he died.Kim and Kit's little moment at the reception:Let's face it, the writing was on the wall even then.Ric and Cassie getting married:Never going to happen, not with her judgement when it comes to relationships.Ric being a macho idiot.Belle being in a permanent sulk:Foresight to show her back in the barn at the end after storming out, shame the next episode didn't show the same intelligence.

Wasn't paying attention at the start but checked Demand5 and apparently that was Jack's episode. And tomorrow's episode is 4993 from 2009, another one I've actually been quite looking forward to.

Ah, the end of Zoe! I remember having a good laugh at how she pretty much outsmarted and kicked Jack's arse. The posts are probably still on here somewhere but quite a few of us loved that little psycho... especially when she showed Jack (& Peter up). Oh my, I think my fanfics featuring Zoe & Peter are still on here!

I think most fans forget that Kim/Kit started way back in 2004, when she came back to look after Hayley and Beth. So actually the writing on the wall started all the way back then, even though I kinda hated it due to still mourning Noah/Kit. She even came back in 2005 in hope that she would rekindle the love and ended up getting in the way of the triangle of doom before feeling the full weight of bitch!Amanda and ended up back in rehab. Perhaps if I rewatch 2007 again I may start to actually liking that Kit but for now I still miss the old Kit :(.
