Does anybody know if Five tend to show these episodes on their website? Really want to watch them but will be at work when they air and not getting my Sky+ installed until next month

Why would people watch episodes they already watched?

1) Because they have forgotten a lot of it and

2) They think the show was better then.

Every soap shows was better back then in early 2000s

Bad news:I contacted Channel 5 about the possibility of the episodes being available on Demand 5 and they sent me an e-mail back saying "Unfortunately, we do not have the rights to make these episodes available on Demand 5."

I'm saying nothing.

FFS - I think that's bull.

If they don't have the rights (which, if they didn't, they couldn't show the episodes) then they could maybe think of buying them

Don't think we need to get quite so dramatic.

Even if they did go on Demand 5 they'd only be available for 30 days, it's unrealistic to think they'd be in a position to be able to have them online permanently as you asked about earlier. Having the rights for transmission and the rights to make them available online are 2 completely different things, and it often gets complicated with older shows when such rights never made a provision for that sort of thing.

Of course it is very unfortunate for those who will be unable to view them at 4pm, or have access to the +1 channel to see them at 5pm, or even just record them - but given that you've often commented about the lack of older episodes on Channel 5, I think we should be grateful they're getting shown at all...
