Not back to its best but in far better shape.To me it's very clear that Louise Bowes was incredibly damaging to the show. I think the lack of personality in the show is largely down to her work.

And I Think with the show not so centric to the Braxtons (Clichied I know). But its been more spread out to the community, so stories flow better.

I've been watching for the past four weeks and have seen a decent improvement, I'm actually enjoying it at the moment and appreciate the changes that have been made.Hopefully they'll build on these positive changes and it will get better and better. I particularly enjoy all of the Summer Bay House scenes, outdoors, indoors, upstairs and with the two young adults (Leah and Zac) taking on the traditional foster parent roles at the moment the house is starting to feel like it should do again.Really enjoy the balanced screen time too with the likes of Marilyn, Irene, John, Roo and Alf being given decent material alongside the rest of the cast (both young and older - many characters I'm only just getting to know myself after not watching for so long) - it's feeling a lot more ensemble again and actually feels more like H&A than it has in years ImoThis may not necessarily be something new either but I've noticed that the underscoring is a little more melodic and less noisy. I like Roo's current theme, it's quite bittersweet and the music used when Marilyn went to Summer Bay House in search of Pippa and Sally was noticeably more H&A in style.

Even if it's just someone coming to pay rent or Leah sending one of the kids out to the park with new linen for one of the guests.

Posted October 22, 2015 Report Posted October 22, 2015 I think then, that Lucy Addario is not as responsible for the tone as we first thought, it may be Louise Bowes who drove the show into a crime driven, error strewn show. Script editors must have a lot of say in the show in that case.
