Why not THE FLYING DOCTORS! As Much as I liked the Blue Heelers cast I kind of tried of Cop shows. I loved to seen some of the Guest characters spinoff into other non- crime stories. example Neighbours ruined Simone Buchanan with making her character evil I rather her have played someone like the Nurse she played in the latter years of Blue Heelers and was told by someone who talked to her had Blue Heelers went another season she and her sister who played the Cops daughter would have returned?  Bobby forever missed Actors like Lisa McCune are still in demand so I dont see a return.  Dee 123 As for All Saints I see Neighbours going that way in the future with more medical stories?

People are talking about the ratings as if they are strong. I've heard they've tumbled a bit in the last year, no idea how true this is.

They did but they came back again as well.

The ratings are not setting the world on fire. But they are solid. Enough to maintain the current format. I think the show needs some fresh ideas and voice. Lucy may need to step down. I don't think it's all her fault. But new producers could help. H and A was pretty good latter half. Morgans big part of that imo. Best part was The Duncan/Alf stuff. Brought the Stewart's to the forefront.

But Duncan left, didn't he??

Far behind, but I have to admit that I think the Morgans are rubbish. So I don't think I will like the second half more than the first. They are  completely rubbish. Even the Braxtons had more substance with their background story, but it should have been used in a different way.

I have seen the explosion, and I don't think it is that bad. Not at all. It would have been a good cliffhanger episode. I didn't like that Oscar was killed of, but I don't think it was done in a bad way either. At least then we didn't see the character get ruined by not in character behaviour, as often happens when the character stays too long. The only thing that spoilt it to me, was the focus on Josh and Charlottes murder, and it irritated me that it was focused more on the relationship between Josh and Evie than her losing her brother, and aunt. The Charlotte mystery should have been resolved months earlier, it dragged on too long, this and the Dylan destroyed the first half a bit. We could also have seen more of Tank and Skye, instead of skipping them out of the show. Nathan should also have stayed with Marilyn and John. It feels that they were cleaning out the closet, so make room for the Morgans, and that was a wrong priority.

So far I have a feeling that they are not keeping and following up the good things, but keeping them short. And then we are stuck with the rubbish and big twenty something group without any purpose than the guns, half-hearted romance and nonsense storylines.

The first 6-7 months of H&A 2016 should have:

resolved Charlotte's murder faster

Dylan should have been more realistic, and not became a maniac

we should have seen Morag bringing Dylan down

Sky, Tank, Mr. Snelgrove should have stayed - the Morgans should never have arrived at least not all of them. We should have got a proper family with parents and kids.

Nathan should have stayed with Marilyn and John.

Ricky should have left far earlier. Her treating Nate badly and wanting to go back to Brax seemed endless... Should have left about a year or two earlier.

Ash and Phoebe should have been written out of the show.

Agree with Charlotte. They dragged it out too long. And to be quite honest, when they finnally revealed the killer, I laughed. Not a good sign. Yeah possibly. Dylan was Kat's abusive boyfriend right? Well guess they were conveying he was going over the edge. Yeah Morag was brought back pretty seemlisley. But stayed too short. And was only their to help Zac. Which he got off anyway, so I don't see how Morag helped. I don't agree re the Morgans though. I Think they have been one of the best additions to the show in a while. Your entitled to dislike them for your reasons. But I have enjoyed them this year. Particularly their interactions with Raffy. Nathan probably should have. But he had a father, from what I Recall. Agree Re Ricky and Nate. And Nah Phoebe has been really great recently. So I am glad they diddn't write her out. Ash is absoloutely useless though. I understand your behind current Aussie pace. So you've yet to see all these storylines play out, and the characters develop.
