I think Ray is on half a million a year. I didn't say he is on a few million rather that he has probably a few million from what he has earned over the years in H&A.

Yes Georgie Parker is very experienced. She has been in many drama shows and she had won a few Logies awards in the past. I think she won 2 gold Logies before.

And I'm pretty sure she's been on All Saints. I could be wrong.

Yes she was on All Saints since it first started in 1998 until 2005. Georgie won two Gold Logies playing nurse Terri Sullivan in 2001 and 2002 respectively.

In Australia it's a big award. Actors or actresses who won because of their role in Home and Away has been only:

2007 - Kate Ritchie (Sally Fletcher)

2010 - Ray Meagher (Alf Stewart)

Other actors who have played regular characters but didn't win the award due to Home and Away was Craig McLachlan (ex-Grant Mitchell) who won a Gold Logie for his work on Neighbours and portraying Henry Ramsay in 1990 and Georgie Parker (Roo Stewart) has won two Gold Logies as I stated earlier for playing nurse Terri Sullivan on All Saints.

Over the years many actors and actresses have been nominated for the Gold Logie for their work on Home and Away but haven't been able to win the award due to strong competition and these also include winners of the award who were first unsuccessful in winning the award. These include:

Melissa did win two of the five nominations. I can't remember if it was Logies related but she also won another award for Best Actress in H&A and they actually presented it to her as a surprise on the H&A set. They did a take of a scene and then the director asked to do it again but instead of answering the door to Travis as scripted, it was someone else with the award. Or something like that, it's very hazy now...

Plus I know there was a lot of controversy about it but I think Melissa was misunderstood regarding her feelings towards H&A. I think she is proud of her work on the show (as she's said a few times in interviews) but she gets fed up with talking about it and made a mess out of explaining that to the press, resulting in all of the backlash. She should just milk it and be happy to talk about it, but she's obviously yet to shake that 'cringe' she feels towards it. If 7TWO get that far (hopefully) she'll probably be asked about the show even more haha
