Made it up to 1270.I do feel a bit of sympathy for Bobby, although that might evaporate soon.To be honest, I feel a bit sorry for Fiona too.You could argue she brought it all on herself by taking up with a married man, but those few weeks with Greg has cost her her job and turned her into the town pariah.I actually kind of hope she does up sticks and go and live with her parents rather than being stuck out in that farm on her own.To be honest, Pippa was never Bobby's first port of call, she wasn't really that close to her in Vanessa Downing's day(where she spent most of her time exiled to a caravan). It was always Ailsa she turned to first, and then Don when she found out he was her father.

John Adam turned in a fantastically emotional performance when Luke recalled how Bill got braindamaged. That said, his brief surrender to despair felt a bit self-indulgent.Luke has underestimated Bill at every turn and his speech about how Bill has no future and will never have anyone fall in love with him was actually supremely patronising, so the fact that Bill made it home under his own steam was the perfect pay-off.

Three steps forward, four steps back for Shane and Angel, as they both admit their feelings, just not at the same time.Angel's chats with Sarah where she's doing a woefully poor job of hiding her feelings were great, as was Nick's reaction when Angel ranted about Shane. You get the feeling that her putting Shane in the firing line by telling Tug he's dating Sarah is payback for him taking back his declaration.Oh well, I guess Shane owes Sarah one for his behaviour on stage.

I can't blame poor Bobby for being upset. This is the second husband who has cheated on her. But I disagree about her coming in between Sam and Greg. As much as I dislike Greg, he IS Sam's biological father. He has every right to see him.

I liked Bill. He was a sweetheart. I liked his final goodbye.

And Alf is so Team Tug at the moment. LOL, just a few months ago he couldn't stand him.

Still say what Angel pulled was a CBM (Complete Bitch Move) by getting Tug worked up about a non-existant Shane/Sarah. Granted, Shane deserved a kicking a few weeks ago despite being justified in his revenge plans but this was just spiteful.

Back to Tug, it is pretty hard to root for him with all his bully-boy tactics by trying to monster Spotter and Alan (the latter, who rightfully made him eat sand) off of Sarah.

And I'd hardly call Bobby in 1988 (before she moved into the house) exiled in that caravan, It was to fit in with her "I don't need nobody" persona and it's only natural she would have turned to Ailsa in those times as she was practically her only friend prior (save for the McPhees, Neville mainly).

John Adam was good in those scenes and he and Craig Beamer worked a believable chemistry.

Will Miss Fiona, nicest bit of guest eye candy over 25!

It's weird, when Bill first ran off into the bush I kept thinking about the time Haydn ran away and fell into an old mine shaft. Then in episode 1268 they actually used the same music from that Haydn story for Bill!! Mike Perjanik certainly has a great memory for detail.

Something else I thought about was Fisher's attitude towards Bill. He's been mostly tolerant. Probably a good thing nobody has told Luke about what Fisher tried to do to Nico! I really enjoyed the storyline with Bill being misssing this week, it was very emotional with a great ending too. I was actually expecting Laura to be the one who finds Bill and having to bring him home would force her into the community but I was wrong.

Nice plan Angel came up with at the end of Friday's episode. I wonder if she came up with it herself or if Sarah's in on it. For that matter, I wonder if Shane is in on it! Tug has gone way too far this week and I no longer feel in any way sorry for him.

I do, however, feel very sorry for Bobby. It feels like a lot was going on this week and it was hard to fit everything in, but I'm glad they managed to squeeze in a scene of Ailsa comforting Bobby, even if it was extremely short. Maybe next week Pippa might get around to visiting her!

I also thought Laura would be the one to find Bill, however I liked how Bill was found.

I feel for Bobby. Knowing what's coming up soon, I loath Greg even more.

And do Tug and Shane eventually become friends?

Yes, Tug and Sarah eventually become good friends.

Wouldn't say good friends per se but there's MUCH less venom by 1994.

And for the Angel/Shower thing, Most people sharing a house with at least 3 members of the opposite sex would keep the bathroom door locked, FFS!

Why does "the opposite sex" hafta hide themselves? Are you saying if it was all a same-sex household they wouldn't lock the bathroom door?????

Not saying that but take gender out of the equation, anyone else would have locked the door regardless! However, Given how Shane/Angel plays out... I'm starting to suspect an ulterior motive!

Just to confirm that the Early Years airings are indeed continuing over Christmas as they did last year.

Which also means our timeline (spoiler alert) as to when the major events of the season air still stands

Excellent news, Dan. Thanks.

I was just looking on your site yesterday to see how far off we are from a certain event and was pleasantly surprised to see it's still a good few weeks away. In my memory it happened much sooner after Greg confesses his affair (what on earth could I be talking about?! )

I agree with RedRanger about John Adam's performance during Bill's missing storyline. He did a really great job and I was surprised how much I felt bad for him. This seems to be one of those storylines that got forgotten somewhere along the line and nobody ever talks about, but was actually pretty good. I think this may be Luke's equivelent to Donna's domestic violence storyline though, in that it's the only decent one he has. Time will tell.

Shane and Angel finally admitted their feelings for each other. Angel and Shane are my 2nd fave Home and Away couple.

The guy who played Alan is Benji McNair who played Mal Kennedy Susan and Karls oldest son in Neighbours.

I'm glad Bobby found out about Gregs affair. But b she is being a cow not letting him see Sam

Yes it was vindictive of Bobby's part. I think she was punishing him though.
