Bit of Steven/Viv theme played in 1391 for Shane and Angel.

And Sally's theme played for them in 1393.

A few old scores seem to have been dusted off.

Also, wouldn't of Alf and Ailsa let Sarah's Dad know what's going on and that she was planning to move out. Considering he was so worried where that would be when she first came to the bay. I'm sure he'd be there.

Matthew would have probably attempted to drag her back to the farm physically after learning everything and lambasting the Stewarts over their failings, resulting in a shoving match with Alf.

Made it up to 1395.So, that's the end of Nathan.Oddly, I remembered the sequence of events perfectly except I could have sworn there was a scene of Nathan grabbing hold of Sarah when she cottons on to him and Damian forcing him to let her go.Instead, her confronting him was very low key.(Shannon gets almost the exact same storyline about 12 months later, I must be getting confused.)It's a nice touch to have Irene effectively be the one to shop Nathan. She did annoy me beforehand with the way she had a go at Damian for falling out with Sarah, without bothering to find out the situation. Sarah gets a few brownie points by making up with Damian before realising Nathan was a bad 'un.And then that last scene of them cuddling up on the beach, with her having chosen the wrong brother, which is obviously leading to them realising they're made for each other and...No? Okay, please yourselves. We got a throwaway line about Matthew not being able to afford to help Sarah out but he's been very hands off, I'm not sure if he's even met Alf and Ailsa.Maybe it's in keeping with the revelation his over protectiveness was apparently only a cover because he couldn't afford to send her to school?

It does seem a bit excessive that Nathan doesn't get out for

eight years after a relatively minor theft in which no-one was hurt or threatened: Fan lore had it that he committed armed robbery which is obviously wrong.Does he have time added on for his indirect involvement in Murdoch's death?

I was sure Fin was going to come a cropper with her curtain making; the way Sam was riding his bike around inside (?!) and her leaving it set up overnight seemed like accidents waiting to happen but apparently not.Oddly, Luke did seem to be trying to help James after earlier undermining him.

I've never seen the ITV cut of 1392 but they definitely trimmed the end of 1391: The ITV version ended with Angel pointing out Shane will fall off the bed and him moving a bit, which I remembered as being more light-hearted than it played out in the full version.Ironically, ITV actually did show the proper end of 1391 in that Shane and Angel retrospective presented by Dieter and Melissa that we saw around Christmas 1995, so for years I thought it was from the following episode.I don't think Angel refusing to sleep with Shane was as simple as not wanting to get pregnant again, I think it's a case that she rushed into taking that step before and came to regret it, and not because she ended up with a baby (which on one level, mysteriously appearing maternal feelings aside, she doesn't seem to regret), and doesn't want to make the same mistake again.Mrs Harris' stance isn't 100% unreasonable, if the estranged mother of one of "our" kids turned up out of the blue they probably wouldn't be welcomed with open arms either (see Bobby's initial attitude towards Greg), but she can't make a blanket ban on Angel seeing Dylan.

I reckon Nathan being Nathan, exacerbated his circumstances in the big house and got time added on Murdoch or no Murdoch, or must have gotten out and got chucked back in a few more times and finally met up with the same prison plastic surgeon that attended to Al Simpson and Roy O'Neale while they were inside, just before he was paroled... Yes, I'm running that one into the ground!

Your remembering doesn't sound entirely unfeasible. The "beastly" Nathan (twirling his moustache) with Sarah in his clutches while the white knight Damo steams in. Let's not forget from all accounts Irene in her More-Grog-than-Woman days, would delegate beatings to Nathan to carry out on Damian (maybe a few throwaway line) when she couldn't be bothered.

The shipteasing on this show is enough to make you pull your hair out at times isn't it? (

Miles/Leah in 2008, which was derailed due to a couple factors; Kirsty, Dan barely being cold in the ground, etc

Nathan and Roy have gone. Yay. Glad Alf and Ailsa allowed Sarah back into their home. Always loved how Ailsa didn't put up with Alf pig headiness only a few people could. I don't like Dylan's grandmother Angel is his mother she has a right to see him

Yeah I did too. I was sure that Sam cycling around inside was leading to something, but it wasn't. Just a little touch of realism in the always-hectic (and messy) Ross house. A stark contrast to the pristine show-home that is presented on the show today.

I'm glad Mrs Harris is letting Angel see Dylan.

Shane is being a good boyfriend during all this. He's really grown up over the past two months. He used to drive me nuts with his selfishness. It seems he and Tug can become friends too.

Poor Tug. It only lasted a week. He's lost everything because of his no-hoper father. Ugh, felt sorry for Sarah for having a slimy drunk man slobber all over her.
