Alf and Nick both have been so grumpy! Especially Alf lol. And loved it when he gave her some time off she she slaps him on the back (fluke, she forgot about his bad back) and loved the scene between Fin and Irene. It was lovely.

Actually loving all storylines at the moment. Sarah and Angel are finally friends again and we won't have to hear about that silly old argument again and Hayden has gone.

Enjoying Shane and Jack's feud. Shane is being immature, he should be the better man but its fun to watch :P I also like Sal and Jack's friendship. He'd be a good brother to her I think, he's been nice to her since day one.

If only Damian went to live with his mum! Its getting too crowded there and Fin is so why can't he? Its starting to bother me why he's taking up extra space when its unnecessary.

The Beach House is more crowded if anything and he's been settled with Pip and Michael for the last 2 years. I don't think Tug or Luke would be open to sharing nor Damo would be with them. Doesn't mean he loves Irene any less.

There's actually the right amount of room at the Rosses right now. Sal being the only girl (Til

Shannon moves in

) naturally gets her own space, the two older boys share and so do the two younger, while the parents have the master. Though the number of rooms gradually changes throughout the series (See 2006-07 when Sal crams everyone in at some point!)

Nick with a bad head and eyes and Alf with a bad back, some pair! :lol::lol:

Jack put the fun back in the show and brought hijinks to the show not seen since Lance and Martin!

It's interesting to see Sally involved in a lot of Jack scenes because she'll be virtually forgotten about once Selina, Shannon and Curtis arrive. At least until around mid 1995 when the writers suddenly decide to lump her in with that group after all.

Now that Hayden is gone, he gets away with leaving Michael and Pippa with a massive debt. Why doesn't Michael come after him or at least take him to court? Hayden does have a case to answer, no?

I really like watching the Irene/Fin/Damo. I particularly like how Fin and Irene haven't become all flowers and blossom since moving in together or indeed since Irene became a regular character. I hadn't really realised before but the way Tina Thomson delivers Fin's lines when she's talking to Irene is still weighted with the knowledge that she's had a very unconventional relationship with her mother. It almost feels like Irene has yet to gain her complete respect.

For instance when Irene was going on about Hayden getting Fin pregnant, Fin literally screamed at her to shut up. I can't imagine her shouting at any other character in the same way, least of all Pippa. You get a sense that their relationship is always going to be a work in progress and I don't know how much that has to do with the way Lynne McGranger and Tina Thomson play the scenes or how much is in the direction/writing but I think it's great and very believable. Fin has had to play mother to Irene before, it often feels like that role reversal is ongoing even now.

Alf has been hilarious over the waterbed/bad back storyline. I've actually laughed out loud a few times.

Yes, Fin was always less accepting of Irene than Damien, yet Damien kept staying at Summer Bay House.

When Fin came back to ask Irene to be surrogate it really felt like Fin calling in a debt almost.

Fin was pretty much her fave by the time the 2000s rolled around (or the child she remained in closest contact with).  I assume she told her first about the 2011 cancer.

I was away for about 2 weeks but I've caught up from Monday 10th-Thursday 14th.

I hope the new teacher can help Tug.

I feel for Finlay Haydn let you down again good riddance to him though I guess that means his guest stint has ended I know it was like 8 weeks.

Jack don't go after Angel to annoy Shane.

oh Damian and Shane boys you have really stuffed up and Alf will give you a serving.

whos the actor playing Robbie Taylor? He looked familiar like maybe he was permanently cast in the later years.

In a few days I'll watch the episodes from this week 17th-21st.

Ryan Kwanten, a good three years before he would return as Vinnie.
