Exhibit 2 in "Tug and Rick Alessi are the same character:Discuss", is that UK Neighbours viewers got his student/teacher relationship at the same time...

Haha oh wow Rick Alessi!! Completely forgotten about him! Seemed like such a big character at the time, but definitely has fallen into "forgotten past character" category. Anyway, what was Exhibit 1?

There was an episode a while back where Tug was throwing stones at Sarah's bedroom window to try and attract her attention and ended up breaking it? I'm pretty sure that UK viewers saw Rick doing the exact same thing about half an hour earlier.

Er, well, it looks like we got Episode 1475 on October 24th that year and according to Perfect Blend that day's Neighbours was 2072, meaning we were five months behind Home and Away and nine months behind Neighbours.Which...means Neighbours got there first, I guess?

I've got the diary bookmarked.Did anyone think I wouldn't?

Today's episode almost felt like a rerun didn't Shane break a roof tile once before? or maybe I saw it on Youtube.

Glad Shangel are back on and Shane I don't think Don will kick you out.

sad that Nick left though felt sorry for Shane.

glad Angel decided to join the netball team.

Post script: I knew I'd commented on the similarity in one of my diary entries but couldn't find it last night: Turns out that's because we didn't get the Neighbours storyline until January, guess the Home and Away storyline was still on my mind. However, that means Australia got them both around the same time: April/May 1994!

Today's episode   some bits  felt like a rerun to me but maybe I saw some small clips of it on YouTube.

felt sorry for Shane when Don called him stupid it was one mistake but maybe Shane shouldn't of tried to fix the TV aerial on his own.

Selina's leaving but we all  know it's for a  short amount of time then she returns.

felt sorry for Luke Tug has a right to want to study on his own or with  Sarah but did he really need to have a go at Luke?

What I found odd about this episode was that Luke got the store to buy the Lemonade before Shane and Angel got there to buy the ingredients so the could  cook dinner or he got there just after they did and somehow he did not arrive back at the Beach house until after Shane and Angel returned back to Fishers and cooked dinner and were eating it. Another think they were all running around outside during an a severe electrical storm pretty sure you are supposed to stay indoors during an electrical storm

Shane should of just confessed right away to breaking the roof tile Fisher would of came down on him less harder if he did.

Caught upto 1490 albeit with some delay.

The Deb Ball was hilarious.

IT *was* Accidental what Jack did with the paint but he wasn't thinking with the brain inside his skull, let me tell you. Lucky Irene (who in all honesty didn't look too bad) was forgiving (though blowing $600 on a dress for an even like that, was kinda of asking for it)  and was swayed over the shoes. Don however would happily have Jack strung up to the Lighthouse if he could.

Talking of Jack, I always thought out of everyone in the cast at that he seemed to connect with Pippa the most.

Glad Shangel are back on course after their little break, though I find hypocritical Angel whinging about Shane being childish and I think Shane caved too early. Too bad Nick's departure sort of put Shane back in a foul mood, I understand where he's coming from, a little advance warning would be nice but as Angel said they weren't gonna live together forever. Also, If I were in Sam's age, I would have figured out WHY Angel wanted me to leave so badly and pressed for an even $5! :D

It's too bad the Angel/Tug friendship didn't get much mileage during their time, they did make an okay pair for the ball.

Scottish reel demo went off without a hitch, well was edited to make it look like it had.

The Cow stunt was hilarious! I really miss the days when the show could get away with that kind of caper.

Pretty nice of Alf to buy Tug that Boombox which most kids now would probably scoff at. (That's how we played our CDs and *gasp* Tapes back then!)

As annoying as Sam is, can't fault that Entrepreneurial skill and he seems to at least be willing to help.

Yep, 1994 was Sal's biggest spare part year and she becomes more of a peripheral character until the end of the year at least.
