Two weeks?? I have to live without my beloved EY for two weeks? I think that's the longest its ever been off? :(

Michael still being a misery guts and taking it out on everyone. I feel sorry for Pippa and Shannon. Ive never seen Pippa this upset at Michael. I have no idea why I used to have such a soft spot for him. I now I dislike him. Intensely.

I also feel sorry for poor Shannon. To her it doesn't feel like home with everyone always arguing. Curtis has it easy.

And poor sick Rob. :P

Actually it was off for a month when 1991 was showing

Yup, it's been discussed in the posts directly before yours and also and the 7TWO transmission thread. Short break for tennis, back in 2 weeks - keep an eye on local schedules.

Does anyone else find it interesting to watch the show with 'fresh eyes' - as in if you imagine never seeing the show before/no nostalgia attached to it? When I do that I can sort of imagine being 200 years in the future and watching H&A from the 90's to see how different life was back then. It's interesting to watch the show now given how feminism is topically at the forefront in 2015.  Particularly the attitude/way people talk to each other sometimes haha

I love watching these episodes from 1994 and looking forward to 1995 too. I have very firm memories of the show from this period, like a very bizarre distant memory of life when you are an infant. It's also triggering memories of my life back in 1994 that I'd forgotten about. Very nostalgic.

I think the show was in a great place at the moment and was getting better. Really like Mike Perjanik's piano scores, but they were starting to become a bit dated at this point I think - the new orchestral music really improved the format in 95 whilst still feeling like H&A.

Michael's outbursts seem very bizarre. I don't think I've been around adults like that since I was a child. Even his shouting and screaming seem like a very dated way of expressing yourself.

Jack deserved the little stunt Frankie,Sonya and Selina pulled serves you right for two timing.

Glad Selina gave her mum another chance.

Roxy fussing over sick Rob in Friday's Ep was a bit over the top.

I sort of guessed Shannon and Curtis were using brother and sister as a cover up.

Alf walks in on them kissing.

Michael's outburst seemed a bit bizarre.

sad it won't be on for 2 wks.

when it returns on the 25th Jan.

Spoiler

Shane's father shows up in the bay.

Shane's father shows up in the bay.

Spoiler

Actually it's his mother, his father has died off-screen.

But you can add 2 weeks to that date anyway as the article on BTTB that you're getting the 'spoilers' from doesn't take into account the break for the tennis.

I watched it back in 1993-95 - and even now I can often predict the exact line someone is about to deliver.  My wife derides me a bit for watching it now but it is certainly a nostalgia thing.  Back then I recorded it on VHS tape, now I record it on a HD recorder, edit out the ads on my Mac and watch it on my iPad on my daily commute.  Plus ca change...

Michael is almost certainly suffering some form of depression, which even in 1994 was perhaps not as recognised as it is now.

Michael needs "to calm his tits", to quote a popular saying.  I understand where he's coming from ( haven't caught up with TEY not that far yet but have enough memories of the storyline and saw some clips) but he's coming off more Immature than Jack by biting heads off.

And let's not forget the situation was pretty much HIS fault.

Technically, Jack was three-timing! (Coincidentally, this aired in the UK around the time Ricky/Natalie Round 1 was happening in EastEnders)

Finally, someone saying it was mostly Michael's fault! And he has the gall to stomp around and bite everyone's heads off!

And I love how the girls got together to bond over Jack and take their revenge. He totally deserved it! Hope Selina doesn't take him back though.

I miss the show, I'm going through bad withdrawals...:P
