I was a bit confused in yesterdays episode. Firstly Michael seemed to be in a ok mood after a few days earlier he and Pippa got into another fight and where was Sally, Sam and Pippa at the bbq?  They wern't there, what they didn't eat dinner.

Also why didnt Damien go and see Shane. I mean his best mate's father died and Damien is just there cooking a bbq. Didn't even mention it.

We're definitely moving into a new era now. Love all the new relationships that are forming.

The Irene/Selina pairing is excellent. It's so much more than just deciding what house to plonk a character in and then just expect us to believe they have a bond. They really think about how these characters would work together and create storylines out of it. Selina is pretty rough around the edges at this point, and Irene is determined to try and be a good mum and make up for past mistakes, their relationship is fun and a new twist on the fostering angle.

Seeing Shannon, Selina and Curtis at school feels like we're definitely moving into "golden era" territory. I didn't realise how blonde Angel had become until she was standing next to Shannon. Her hair was pretty red when she first arrived.

Ah I couldn't agree more in regards to the Irene and Selna relationship. Just compare it to b

her and belle. Practically within a few eps she as living with Irene and instantly cared about each other. Soooo contrived.

From memory they had one interesting episode when Belle was new, in which she convinced Belle to come and live with her. Then for weeks literally NOTHING was shown of their living arrangements or relationship, until Belle's first big crisis when Irene suddenly cared about her like a daughter.
