Rob is becoming quite a character isn't he. First, he slaps one of his students around at school, now he's perving on them having fun at the beach in the dark.

Oh and while we're on the subject of Laura and the growing negativity against her,.......

She has no respect for her elders. The way she spoke to Ailsa I wish Ailsa kicked her out right then!

Natasha — respect for elders is EARNED, not automatically given. Spoiling their fun, while causing nobody any harm or damage, is hardly conducing to respecting one's elders.

I think ailsa is within her rights to set the rules in her own household.....teenagers, kissing, hormones, often a dangerous combination that can lead to more fairly quickly.

Curtis should run for the hills while he can, poor guy can't even sign up for a bit of fun playing soccor without being given a hard time.  Stage 5 clinger alert .  Laura seriously lacks a sense of humour, so intense and far too high maintenance

Poor Angel, trying her best, felt sorry for her again when she fell.:(

Still find Donna bland and boring....how long is she in the show for?  I honestly have no memory of her at all from the first time around.

Hormones? Leading to more? More what, exactly? Sounds rather vague to me. It is this kind of vagueness that is part of the problem when this issue is "dealt with" (swept under the carpet) in that show.

Perhaps soccer really is boring, but yes, I agree with you to a certain extent that Laura is being a bit unfair about the soccer training.

I actually find Laura entertaining. Her fiery temper is amusing.

On this occasion I'm with "Old H&A Fan"... the writers made a mess of what the characters were saying... or not saying... or trying to say without saying it. Both Ailsa and Fisher only saw them kissing. Something they have seen plenty of kids do before, including those in their own houses. The implication may have been that they were worried they would take things further and have sex, but that wasn't clear in the writing at all and it just seemed silly for them both to get so worked up over a kiss, considering how many teens they have both fostered and had absolutely no problems with them kissing their boyfriends/girlfriends.

Well, I'm stating a fact that the episode where the storyline hit its climax was nominated for best single ep (Obviously the Institute deemed it worthy to be shortlisted) but lost out to to the ep where

The Soccer thing... You lot don't really care for it, neither do the Yanks. Everyone ELSE likes it though (Europe, South America, Asia, etc) :D

And so begins the famous Andrew ♥ Donna storyline. I must ask (and I'll repeat this in Quick Questions in case I don't get an answer here) who's bright idea was it to have Andrew Warren as the person who parked in the disabled spot to get Shane ranting and raving like that?

Ahhhh Selina, Irene and the infamous jeans storyline! I remember it well.

Another thing I've always remembered was the guy parking in the disabled space and Shane blocking him in, but I had no memory of it being Andrew Warren.

I guessing using him for the car park story saved the show from having to pay another actor for that role. And it was a way of introducing the character with a bit of impact.

Going back a bit, I liked Alf's exit and the tender moments between him and Ailsa. Nice to see them being lovey-dovey, as hard times are ahead upon his return. Ailsa struggled under the pressure during his absence last year (remember her epic argument with Irene?) and this time she's got 2 businesses, a house, a little boy, a foster son, and an exchange student to cope with!

Not able to watch these eps. Just wondering if we've moved away from the piano scores yet. To be, it really ends the early years when the strings arrive.

Not yet. It seems they were experimenting with different sounds around the start of the 1995 season but that's kind of settled down for now. In fact during Angel's stint in hospital we had quite a few of the very old classic scores from 1988 and 1989 and it was lovely.

The Andrew/Donna storyline was the storyline that got me hooked on Home and Away, so I'm really looking forward to watching it again. The car park thing was a really good introduction of the character I think.
