Good to see Alf has time during the day to attend his sons soccer game. Yes I know it's important but who was running the store and with Ailsa the way she is you think he'd be trying to help her. Alf being the typical sporting parent in thinking his son is the star player. Well if you just let Michael coach and trust him then Duncan wouldn't have run up the ground and left the goal wide open. Then for Michael and Alf to have that competition, it was only going to end in disaster.

Poor Sally.

Nice to see Don listen to the student's feedback and hopefully Don and the students can be on the same page.

Im assuming there will be a 2 week break while the Olympics are on? Shame really because there are some good storylines coming up.

Im still confused as why Rob left the bay and who is in charge of the boatshed? Does it still exist?

Rob had to move into the boatshed to save money on rent at Irene's. He had to let Shane go as he needed a qualified mechanic and couldn't afford to pay the mechanic, Shane and himself all at the same time.

I'd forgotten that. Was anything of its history mentioned at the time?

It's fairly easy to submit corrections to IMDB but in this case it's correct (although it's Sam Nicholls, not Sam Morgan). Sam's mum was Jacqui Nicholls and Sam took her name because Greg wasn't around. I must admit I don't recall them changing his name to Sam Marshall though; was it a storyline or was he suddenly just referred to as Marshall one day?

I'm guessing with Bobby formally adopting him (confirmed by Don after her death) after marrying Greg in 1992, that it made sense for them all to have the same surname instead of the three they had  prior (Marshall, Simpson, Nicholls)

Yes I've noticed on my online EPG it's not showing up on the 9am slot so I can assume we're without for two weeks.

Yeah we mentioned it in the 7TWO Transmission thread and on the main site a couple of weeks ago, definitely off for the next two weeks.

No reason to think it won't return on the 22nd as expected, but will get more confirmation in the next couple of days hopefully. :)

I've noticed on my Foxtel EPG that it's got the remaining two episodes for this week then home and away catch up on  Sunday in case you missed any of the current episodes through out the week.

Shane is looking at buying a motorbike so he can get around to fulfil his job requirements. Angel is opposed to the idea.

Spoiler

A premonition of Shane's final fate.

Just to put everyone's minds at rest, I've just seen that it will continue with episode 1701 on the 23rd August at the usual time, only trouble is it now puts us 1 day out of sync with the orginal broadcasts, maybe there will be two episodes on the 23rd who knows, I'm sure we'll know closer the time

Anyone else wonder where Shannon was in yesterdays episode when Selina went back to school? I'm guessing they wanted to make it a Selina/Curtis storyline especially with the kiss at the end, but Shannon us Selina's best friend and you would have thought we would have seen her be there for Selina's 1st day back.

Sally nice comeback on Joe but if you are going to get back at someone don't get caught and make it obvious it was you. I wonder why she didn't tell Jack the whole truth what Jo said, in terms of all the other mean things he said and you would think she would talk to Shannon about it.
