  Reveal hidden contents

She attempts to break up Shane and Angels marriage. However all is forgiven weeks later when she rescues Dylan after we see the ugly side of Paul who tries to kidnap Dylan

Really? So the show's going to make me hate Shannon even more now?

But I do miss the show. :(

Just a note-can't Selina stay friends with guys? Why doe she need to hook up with every guy she meets and claims she loves them? For example: Nelson, Damian, and now Curtis.

TBF, I'm liking the Olympics. Mainly because Team GB are killing it this time.

I thought we did our level best in London 2012 (3rd on table), but in Rio, aside from the Americans. We're curbstomping everyone else in particular sports.

Totally random I know, but I cannot wait for a freeze frame involving Marilyn. It must be soon after her return. It's when Dylan asks her how babies are made and she pull a very funny face that it frozen for ages! I'm sure sometimes it was longer than others depending on the characters expression. Diana Fraser always has some great one. It's the simply thingS that amuse me. Lol

My typos are getting worse. As bad as Irene's short hand.

Hoo booy! Caned like 7 weeks worth of TEY episodes upto 1700. The point where the break took place.

Lemme do my summing up in... THE BIG HULKING REVIEW!

Due to source issues, I lost a s*** ton of eps (1646-66) so began at 1667

Curtis' grief was pretty believable then and Travis was a great character to help him (One of the better intergenerational friendships on the show). Curtis being found in the toilets smashed on Voddy was kind of harrowing. Jack was a complete arse and in Curtis' shoes I'd have probably punched him one the day he got in my face for blaming me for Laura's death. Glad they worked it out after their Biff on the beach (more like rolling and tearing)

Lynne seems confident enough to be wearing that denim mini, seriously there were moments when Irene could have easily flashed her undies!  (TBF, LMG didn't have too bad legs for an "Old bird" at this point in time) Talking of skirts, Isla/Shannon has had a few "slips" of her own so far during early into her tenure (They're quick but noticeable)

EVERYBODY warned Donna but she dug her own grave. That said, What Andrew did was s***ty and there was no just cause for it. Lucky he left town. 1683 was well done and deserved the nomination. I didn't find "Walking into doors" in away Obstrusive. Couldn't help but laugh at Rob's threat of turning Andrew into "Dog Meat":D

Selina's pregnancy is definitely a memorable storyline. H&A '95 continues to give us that emotional punch. Glad they managed to salvage Damian (he at least alluded to being there for the kid when he could)

Parrish Custody case: Paul came off likeable to start with but Angel didn't really do herself any favours with the way she carried on. I agree with Shane that kids need boundaries (Neither Gestapo/Nazi ruling nor Hippy Freedom ones). He's just trying to be a good father as by accounts Philip (his old man) wasn't. Mrs Harris just came off prickly (I understand that she pretty much raised Dylan, but Angel had zero options at that point in time) and the counsellor referring to the unseen Suzie as Paul's new wife when they were engaged a couple eps ago (What happened?, Did they get a quickie drive-thru wedding?) and that cheque for $10k did the Harris' case no favours. And the Pig stunt, yes kids DO notice when you replace pets.

Holy cow, the Bambino! It's not as cringingly pink as I remember but still, that's kind of an Image killer for a bloke Shane. Still, When you're 19, just out of school with a family to support, beggars can't be choosers.

And Rob mysteriously disappears contracting "Matt disease", but they make out he's still living in town for the next four years.

The crisis-care story arc. Yep, they were asking for trouble letting Kim run around loose upstairs trashing the girls' room. Sam all of 12, was being a brat, acting even more immature than the girl (8) . I'm surprised Michael didn't bundle him upstairs by the heels. That's not the last we'll see of Charde Doherty as she returns in 2001 playing someone else. And this isn't the last of the short crisis care arc,

We have Maja and the attention-seeking Heather (famously played by Sarah Monahan of "Hey Dad!" fame) to come

As much as I feel for Shannon she came off delusional and a bit of pain during this lump of episodes. Curtis wasn't gonna magically fall back in love with her. And Sam while not being wrong needed to keep his little mouth shut!

Joe Lynch; started out fine and was a good mate for Jack to hang around with while Curtis recovers but his malicious bullying of Sally is beyond the pale. Yes, even if she IS a goody-two-shoes brain, she doesn't DESERVE that kind of harassment. I'd invite him over to Summer Bay House for a fist casserole! That said Kate must have been happy to work with Justin again after 7yrs, there's a believable chemistry. The bra stunt though... That thing looked kind of grody! The Poem as well was kind of fair.

Alf being back has been great, trying to shift the artifacts. The soccer stuff was hilarious, didn't think you could get that money comedy moments out of Michael. And I guess Alf studied one too many Peter Schmeichel tapes. You never bring the Keeper out unless you're like 5-0 up or something!

And that smelly ratbag who robbed the diner and terorized Ailsa...That was scary considering this product was gentler!

Can't wait for the return (which will be shortlived)

The Olympics is nearly over, and I will breathe a sigh of relief, I also don't see what all the fuss is about over sports. Gimme old H&A anyday.

And then H&A The Early Years goes on another hiatus in September for...you`ve guessed it....more sports.

:(

I would take that with a pinch of salt until nearer the time, the guide that the information has come from isn't 100% reliable until about a week before transmission

Thanks for the info.
