When is Ailsa coming back?.

From memory, Ailsa is away for quite some time.

I always liked Donna Bishop. I suppose as she only stayed on for about 8 months, she remained underrated. Her storyline with Andrew Warren was good.

It's weird. I really liked Donna during the Andrew storyline. I found her sympathetic and well acted. But both before and after that story, she really grated on me. She had a pretty flat personality with no quirks or humour. I guess she was a one hit wonder. I'm glad she's gone.

Marilyn's salon looks hideously tacky in a 90s "trying to be glamorous" way.

I didn't understand what Pippa was saying about finding her mother's drawer full of her old photos, and letters she had written and "How could anyone do that? I hate secrets". Surely it's a good thing that Pippa's mum kept all that stuff? And what was the secret?

Jack and Chloe  So glad Jack finally has a storyline again. Can't say I think much of Curtis and Selina together.

Angel's plane crash is my first Home and Away memory - well I vaguely remember it, although I didn't recall it involving Angel, Dylan or Teresa  I just have extremely vague memories of Alf running the search. I always thought my first H&A memory was

Selina drinking a can of coke with a bee in it.

Funny the 1995 plane crash was better than the 2016 one. H&A seems to have a decennial plane crash in the way Neighbours has its shootings.

It takes an even bigger fool to conclusively believe they can remain together for the rest of their lives on the basis of what's little more than a toss of a coin.

Some people care more about the idea of a partner than the quality of the partner themselves hence why people get together quick and stay together forever. However I think Carly did love Ben.

I don't like Travis either.

Shame he returns.

Behooooold... The Big Hulking Review (A tad bit late this week)

Caught up on 1720-5.

Travis and Donna sail off into the sunset with a no-frills exit (probably did a dawn flit) and at the same time pack that festering turd of a brother of Donna's named Gus back on a bus home. If he'd stayed, he'd probably would have got arrested or a very bad kicking. We know one half of this couple will be back. So it's Na Na Na Hey Hey Hey Goodbye to those three!

Don being cold with Shannon is understandable but keep it out of school, okay. As for Don, it's plain to blind Freddy that he's lonely in that 5-bed joint. Shangel being back under his roof would have lasted a month tops, despite the fact they were a close-knit family unit w/ Nick for nearly 2yrs. And Landlord selling out from under them w/o prior notice really stinks.

Poor Maja. You just feel for the girl. Had this been the 2010s product, DOCS would be a little skeptical of Michael taking caring of her sans Pippa and her attachment to him. Lucky Connolly is familiar with the Rosses so that works in her favor. There's actually believeable Psuedo-Daddy daughter interaction between Dennis and Xenia.

Debut of Chloe. Kristy's a nervous, her inexperience is showing (will say she does convey fear moderately well) but she gradually improves especially with the Brad Cooper stuff. Plus she has a great set of legs too. Bad Hulk!:D   Hate racist dickheads like her father, Max. Dinosaurs who still live in the 50s or further back with their outdated attitudes.

Nelson being back. Was kind of Gutless of Selina not to let him know before he came back, was kind of foolish for him to basically come all that way just to be rejected (Just as well Irene's family)

That was actually cut from UK airings (for good reason).

O'Reilly bowling upto the Salon was kind of funny, probably got the flowers from the nearest Servo in Yabbie Creek!

Shannon basically killing herself here, No good her biting Jack's (who surprisingly is one of her staunchest allies) head off. If you remember she kind of caused this situation (despite the fact Angel didn't look too much like the victim here, Shane was the real casualty for doing nothing wrong). However, things will reach a  no-laughing matter point soon enough.

Alf playing Die Fuhrer at the Diner w/ Irene and Maz was always gonna backfire. Michael who knows as much about Diner work as Lance Smart knows about Brain Surgery had a good go in trying to maintain order. And Maz, you really wanna go up ladders in that skirt?

Well, that's me done.

I'll pop in for additional commentary for significant moments

The Flames vs The Fish in the 1995 Schoolhouse Rumble is on the Horizon!
