Can't believe the Shannon scene was cut, her bulimia story has actually been pretty good so far, I wasn't expecting it to.

Like the Ailsa storyline, it's one that has gradually built up and snowballed over several months, so that we can see exactly how things have ended up the way they are.

Certainly a different calibre of story development to certain other eras

I definitely agree. After everything with Shane and Angel, it's easy to see how Shannon got to this point.

MAZ: There's bad news. Or there's really bad news. Which one do you want first?

I liked the one just after that from Maz - "I didn't say he was cruel....he's just a liar and a cheat..." :D

Really strong scenes between Donald and Curtis, incidentally I'm finding Curtis more interesting away from Selina.

If this was the current show Curtis would have got a pat on the back from everyone for having fun at the law's expense. Ok...that's an exaggeration but you get my point :P

I think it's been building since the Eric story actually. That led to recurring nightmares about her abuse, which has messed up her head in terms of normal relationships... she couldn't make it work with that guy from school (forget his name), then latched on to Curtis and got her confidence knocked when he went out with Selina instead, then on the rebound from that she threw herself at Shane who also rejected her. It's all been a big spiral.

To be honest (I know it's not really how it works in real life but), I'm not surprised she

ends up falling for a woman instead.

Exactly, and with Eric arriving in the first ep of the season it means the overall arc has been building for 6 months so far.

Yeah, I think the Shane/Angel thing was the final nail in the coffin in terms of her developing bulimia - she realised just how much her life had spiralled out of control what with the horrible things she did and said to Angel.

As a bulimia sufferer on and off since I was 16 this one hits a bit close to home. Don't mind saying that on this forum seeing as it's in context.

Olivia's mortality isn't looking too good if her maternal family tree is anything to go by. Killing Chloe is the worst decision this show ever made. Well, actually it couldn't be that, but it's definitely up there.

I feel like the show has picked up a bit again. It got a bit dull for a few months after Angel's car crash.

Dammit, I raced through these episodes and caught up too quickly.

Oh gosh is Chloe returning after having faked her death or is that your way of saying Rochelle is locked into a 5 year contract or something? Or have I misunderstood entirely

:D

I put some 2012 episodes on to fill the void and they're just not hitting the mark. Absolutely loved the Walkers though.
