Oh gosh is Chloe returning after having faked her death or is that your way of saying Rochelle is locked into a 5 year contract or something? Or have I misunderstood entirely

:D

Spoiler

 No I'm talking about the elder of the three generations - all will become apparent in the next few weeks

Time for me to drop the BIG HULKING REVIEW which spans 1726-31.

Hoo boy, The shirt. Curtis should have burned that thing (not because it's a horrible item of clothing, Angel's apron at the diner deserves that honour ) but when you think you're not gonna get caught you slip up.  For some reason, I invisioned the scene of Alf and Curtis around the grill and are about to toast the shirt before Hale sticks his bib in.

Schoolhouse Rumble wow, That's an AFI-award worthy moment! The extras were convincing enough especially the shocked Redhead who saw Don hit the floor. I loved how there was No dissolve between the recap of 1730 and the start of 1731 when Alf told the kids go away, picking up right where it left off sort of like UK soaps do after most end-of-episode cliffhangers (At least Emmerdale and Enders). Constable Len Turner (Though, he doesn't get an official name until he pops up again, much like Rev. Brown who did Shane and Angels's wedding) makes his debut during that scene with Don. Let's just say everyone involved was at fault (Curtis for being led by the goolies, Don for snitching, Alf for going Ali on Flathead). Shirt actually seemed to suit Jack a bit more!

In Jack shoes I'd have apologised to Chloe NOT for what I said about but for HOW I said it. Max is in my dartboard list this week. And what's this about Maureen allegedly dying? I'm guessing this is another Angela Newton situation.

Maureen rocks up alive and well the following year with a dirtbag boyfriend who is slightly worse than Max

.  Max probably WOULD  attend a KKK meeting if he could. Also, He's lucky he's in a conservative small town, not in the city otherwise his head would have been blown smooth off (or at the very least) kicked in for that kind of mindset. And had it been Chloe that had been busted, he'd be singing Alf's tune. Back to Chloe, kind of disappointed we never got to see her hit the water in that pink one piece (Jack is right, she does have a great figure).

Sally is sporting a cute little top that says "Hound Dog" well quite frankly she's behaving like a snooty... well, you know (The technical term for female canines )  toward Nelson (who may be a bit of a drip) but COME ON!  Well, we all know where that goes. Also, Nelson... You're the world's worst liar and there will be consequences.:o

Poor Maja. She's such a little sweety. It's too bad we didn't really get to see her play with the other littlies despite being a bit older than. I get the feeling Jan if she had her way would have recommended she stay with the Rosses but as she said it was out of her hands and while sympathetic, she had a job to do. Michael actually looked like he was gonna burst into tears. Probably remembered all the times with his estranged, unseen daughter and thought Maja would be like a second chance. Pippa's home from her Mum's funeral; Strange, Coral while not seemingly warmest person prior to her death, didn't seem like the coldest either. Perhaps she kept the stuff safe? Probably to further the impending arrival of her widower in the block. Funny, I remember Shane's bike backfiring sounding a LOT louder first go around, like an actual gunshot. The scene with them painting the rocks was kind of nice, nothing you'd get now.

Plot with thickens with Shannon and the Eating Disorder. And yes, I was checking Shannon/Isla out in that bathroom scene in her underwear.   It's been played reasonably well with Isla's outfits probably been taken out or wardrobe are putting her in baggier stuff to convey the illusion. I'm still amazed how small Isla is! She couldn't have been more than 5'5! IF that.

The O'Reilly saga. I couldn't stop laughing, What's even funnier is the two Mrs O'Reillys actually feeling sorry for the old git! Plus wanting to work out a deal lol. I see it now, Sheik O'Reilly and his Tri-state Harem to satisfy his needs! Good on Maz for going all Jessica Fletcher (aka Angela Lansbury) for doing some digging. I legit thought Mick was gonna either poop himself or have a heart attack!   I love Irene, Mazza and Selina huddled over that fire like three witches of Eastwick or at least those three from MacBeth. :D

Yellow Diner debuts. Definitely the sign of a new era even though it lasts less than 2.5yrs

Quite Number of "Oh F***!" endings this week.

Missing Key... Does that mean

Paulie Boy is back on the horizon w/ his hate campaign against the mother of his child?

Also Anyone notice in 1731 Patti's Day's "Right before My Eyes" on the jukebox during Selina basically standing over Shannon to eat the burger?  UK viewers may remember the Garage version done by (N'n'G feat. Kallaghan, 1998 and U.S. fans will remember the 1988 Patti Day Original.  I wish Nenehcherry2 was still around, he'd get a kick out of that! (Liked his house music, had many discussions with him about it)

Well, that's your big Hulking Review this week, whether you asked for it or not! :D

So Pippa's dad shows up thinking he is going to move in. Poor Michael getting called Tom and then him saying things to Shannon. So now we have Sam back from the wilderness. It's like they let Maja have her spotlight for awhile and rubbed Ryan out. It was nice to see the whole family sit around at the table eating dinner.

Shannon seriously why throw your sandwiches in the bin where they are just so noticeable and wow that's some attitude you are giving out but I guess that's all part of the disease.

Seems Irene has moved on quickly from last weeks O'Reilly bombshell.

Nelson seriously you went out with Selina. Asking Sally out should be a walk in the park. But they do look good together.

Finally caught up on the six episodes up to 1731.So we lost O'Reilly. The scene of him being surprised by his two wives in the Diner is another one that's stuck in the mind, although I didn't realise how much Angel was involved(and how little Selina was!).We also lost Maja.Did people really still refer to Yugoslavia in 1995?It had effectively ceased to exist three or four years earlier.(Never clear of the exact date, just remember that it affected the 1992 European Championship...)It's a tearjerker but given the number of natural and man-made disasters coming up in the next few years, and the relatively high death rate among the current cast, she may actually be better off in a war zone.

And another promise that Michael was probably unable to keep...

Shannon's anorexia is in full swing now and she looks a wreck. It's pretty traumatic in some regards and shows how sufferers just have no idea what they really look like.Pippa seems to keep getting close to the truth and then be lulled into a false sense of security.

Anyone think that the show is in a bit of a rush to start up relationships at the moment?Jack asks Chloe out in her first episode, then Nelson decides he "really likes" Sally when they only seem to have had one conversation! It's reached the point where Irene and O'Reilly doesn't even seem unusual.Sally was somewhat unkind about Nelson, although she did seem to quickly regret it.

Don't remember all that stuff about Chloe's mum being dead but I'm guessing it's a lie:My memory is that when she (temporarily) leaves it's to go and find her mum.

Not sure if Max is really working as a character: If he's been around as long as he seems to have, wouldn't someone have objected to his views before now?It didn't take long for him and Alf to fall out.(Maybe it's the lack of "foreigners" in the Bay, despite his claim it's overrun with them...)

Going out on a limb here but...Don was legally right to report Curtis, maybe even morally right, as his chat with Irene about sticking to your principles demonstrates. We've seen in the current show what supposedly responsible adults constantly covering up wrongdoing because they know the culprit or "He's suffered enough" leads to.Unfortunately, which seems to be a repeated theme at the moment, Don starts off having a point and then ends up taking it to ridiculous extremes, acting like Curtis is some irredeemable habitual criminal. Not that that excuses what Alf did, although at least he seemed a bit ashamed.
