Matt, you have just confirmed the pro-Gillard, pro-Hillary Marxist socialist regressive "progressive" new-age anti-men attitudes that currently infect our universe, which is what I consider Selina Cook (aka Selina "roberts") to be all about. I find it disgusting.

Reverse discrimination is still discrimination.

I'm utilising my legal right to appeal, and I think the judge, jury and audience would agree with me.

If anyone wishes to explain to me how ANY of the comments I made were anti-men, please feel free to message me! Because I don't know how saying a woman is her own person degrades men?

Oh, of course women are still meant to be a man's object! I completely forget! Why don't all the ladies go back to cooking, cleaning, basically being a glorified babysitter, and all the men make the bread for the family? That may keep some people happy.

Now, I'm going to say this once and for all. This bullsh*t attitude that may seem apparent to some, that I have views that are 'anti-men'. Not once did I say I was 'anti-men'. One may consider whatever one wants about a fictional character, but one won't dare to start accusing a real person, with an obvious higher moral standing, of such nonsense. I think one will find it's not a "pro-Gillard, pro-Hillary Marxist socialist regressive "progressive" new-age anti-men attitudes"; it's called being brought up to respect people, no matter what their age, gender, sexuality or race & religion.

Sometimes I think it's older people that need to take a lesson in respect off of younger people.

Oh for god sake....... what's wrong with women doing cleaning and cooking. Since when did it become politically incorrect for a woman to do something so horribly degrading as doing everyday things like housework?!!

This has nothing to do with "respect." Selina's attitude has nothing to do with respect. Unlike what the left-wing yahoos might think, Curtis was not trying to degrade Selina, he was offering to do what a friend would do in that situation, regardless of what's between their legs.

Stop putting words in my mouth! I never said there was anything wrong with women doing the cooking and cleaning, BUT they are allowed to live outside the kitchen. Take your own advice and realise that anyone can do housework "regardless of what's between their legs". That's what equality is all about. (Have attached a link, some light reading for anyone who doesn't seem to understand the word :)).

These "left-wing yahoos" of which you speak, may realise that Selina, being a young woman in the late 20th century, doesn't need anyone else to fight her own battles. Or maybe, she's trying to prove a point about how she doesn't have to tell a man to deal with her issues.

Sometimes I'm shocked by the level of stupidity of the human race. God help today's society if the likes of Trump get into power. There'll be a hell of this nonsense happening.

"equality". Oh I understand it alright. It's just not being used the right way "these days". It's a ploy used by feminists and gay rights activists to complain in the political arena about their alleged unequal treatment.

Nobody said women are not "allowed" outside the kitchen. They are not chained there. They are not held there at gunpoint. Not unless they're stuck in an abusive relationship, which is hardly what Curtis is doing to Selina merely by offering to HELP her in her time of crisis. HELP. That's right, he was trying to HELP SELINA. and the ungrateful bitch responds by spitting in his face!

It's obvious you're an 0bama/Clinton supporter Matt. Not putting words into your mouth, you said so yourself, "God help today's society if the likes of Trump get into power"

Don't worry. The polls have Clinton in a safe lead, I'd say those worrying about Trump getting in are worrying about nothing (and anyway.......if he does get in, they'll just have to suck it up won't they)

Surely Selina hasn't told Curtis because she would be worried it would all blow up and perhaps Irene might believe Mud and through her out.

Victims of Savile for example didn't speak out for years. And it's certain attitudes of people that allow these awful men to continue, I'm just glad Selina isn't a real person because if she was and was surrounded by people that might tell her to shut up and she being over sensitive the abuse could be a lot worse.

There could have been a many viewers at the time that may have spoken up about their own abuse because of this storyline and surely that's a positive thing.

Back to the ACTUAL Topic. Seriously this board needs to be moderated more. I'm getting totally sick of a certain someone and his pig headed and bullying opinions ?

Angel was a total cow. She and Shane were both awful. I hope hey will be bought down a peg or two when they realise it isn't Shannon. Angel going through hell? Pfft Shannons been though more than Princess ever will.

Why don't you just say my name. It's pretty obvious that it's me you're referring to. Don't beat around the bush.

Everyone has the right to an opinion. Having one that doesn't agree with yours doesn't make it "pig-headed and bullying" I mean Selina's attitude could equally be described as "pig-headed and bullying" too.

Besides.......if you want to use this storyline to claim it is a "positive" thing that it made victims speak out, there is one glaring problem with the way the "mud" and Selina thing played out. She's the one who started going on about that guy "giving me the creeps" even before he set foot in Irene's house let alone looked in Selina's direction.

Honestly, when I first saw this storyline back in 95, and rewatched it again and again, I found nothing at the very start to suggest Murdoch gave Selina any reason to give her the creeps. He was just sitting at the beach, in the distance, staring out to sea after being denied a place to stay, while Selina mouthed off her to Curtis and Nelson "that guy gives me the creeps". I first thought it was just merely a judgment passed on Irene's behalf because he walked out on her as a husband and father of her kids.

Now if this is a "bullying and pig-headed" opinion, well I'm sorry, but I am stating the facts. I submit that it is my opinion, based on that fact, "mud" is being unfairly treated. And the basis for that opinion is the fact he did nothing wrong to Selina to cause her to first say "that guy gives me the creeps".

Also, when he moved into the beach house (and this is before he had done anything to Selina) the antagonism was all coming from Selina. Marilyn even tried to reason with her, calm her down. See, even Marilyn couldn't understand what Selina was so worked up about. And rather than saying "bullying, pig-headed" comments on BTTB, I should instead just sit back and let an innocent man be judged even when he has done nothing wrong while some firey bitch fires off insults at him for no reason? (remember I am referring to before he watched Selina exercising in public at the Surf Club, and before he barged into her bedroom)

Now. back to the topic, was Angel and Shannon's

Spoiler

temporary

feud storyline poorly written?

It amuses me Natasha hearing someone else use Princess as a term in casual everyday speech.

One of my friends uses that term a fair bit to describe various things.
