I am not a big Selina fan, but can understand why she is listening to her inner voice, when it comes to mud.  People can often have a gut instinct, or sixth sense about people, which more often then not is right.  The time line of mud walking out on Irene leaving her to bring up their "small children" 10 years ago doesn't really add up.  Finn and Damien would have to be at least ?19-22, nathan even older, so 10 years ago they werent exactly that young.  How old were damien and finn when they went to live with the Pippa?  I would have though early to mid teens.

I really enjoyed the storyline with Pippas dad Bert, it was nice to see the beautiful architecture of the house from outside during some of the scenes.  The BBQ scene was quite hilarious, even though it could well have ended in disaster:lol:  I am glad he enjoyed the retirement home in the end.  I also love the old Kombi, could almost be seen as a classic relic even back in those days.

One character who grates on my nerves over recent times is Angel.  She is overdramatic about everything, and just seems to act like the perpetual misery guts and nagging fishwife, its a wonder Shane can put up with it

Also enjoying the new music in the diner, and was also playing on the radio at shane and angels the other day.

Good to see Ailsa back, and about time she saw through Alf's shortfalls.

What? Alf wasn't doing anything wrong, it's Alsa who is treating Alf like a lump of wood. It looks like she isn't completely healed going by the way she just came out and said "I don't love you anymore Alf"

This "sixth sense" you talk about. How does that tie in with "mud"? This "gut instinct" wouldn't exactly stand up in a court of law I mean before the first real incident (where he barged into her bedroom) it was just simply a case of Selina being an obnoxious bitch.

I don't think Alf has given Ailsa the support and help she needs, both around the house and also when he decided to take off on a holiday and leave her to cope with everything.  JMO

No a gut instinct doesn't stand up in a court of law, but noone is exactly charging the man with any offences.  It just gives you an indication of who to steer clear of in everyday life.

Could really do without this latest silly development in the Ailsa story. She doesn't love Alf any more? Oh right ok. Where's Roo when you need her? Starting to think she was right all along that Ailsa wasn't good enough for Alf. (I know this is just a hiccup and overall Ailsa is one of my favourite characters but she's really grating on me right now).

Yes I remember 1995 for being a year where we see a lot of the caravan park and outside of the Ross house. The exterior scenes have really increased.

Marilyn's been underwhelming these past couple of weeks, she seems to be hanging around with no real purpose.

The more time goes on the more I like Shane and dislike Angel. He's way more mature and sensible and she really is a nag and a whinger. I can see why Dieter got fed up playing a henpecked husband. Also they just seem to go from self-contained drama to self-contained drama. I'd like to see them involved in the community more.

TBF, There was plenty of outdoor filming the previous year for stunt work as well as the obligatory beach scene. Characters even went out to have a bit of fun even if it was just Yabbie Creek.

Shane and Angel's positioning is not unlike the old Campbell/McKenzie/MacGuire farm in the modern product, Outskirts of  town which would require a drive or a bus ride (as mentioned by Angel). Also with Angel working at the Diner she interacts with all the regulars as does Shane at the Park though it's mainly the family. But I get your drift. They need to be more integrated instead of being the "Shane and Angel Show".

Maz on this go-around doesn't come into her own until the end of the year.

It was established from the outset. Fin was 2yrs older than Damian, who was confirmed as 15 in 1991. Fin on her arrival began YR11.

Ah, I was referring specfically to Ross house/caravan park exterior scenes. :) Yes we still had them in previous years but they seem to have increased this year, to almost as much as we used to get in 1988.

At least I'm not the only one who thinks this. I used to like her but now...I'm surprised Shane has stuck with her for this long.

Exactly! Poor Shane...Angel better liven up a bit.
