To the right of the front door, meaning the studio set is a indeed a bit off as regards to where the front 'window' is - the salon should extend a lot further to the left as we look at it from the fourth wall.

I suppose at least someone thought when adding the salon that the Diner exterior had a whole part to the right not used onscreen, even if the designers didn't get it quite right.

28 years later and we're still waiting for someone to notice Pippa's house has a whole right hand side!

You'll also notice now that the Salon has been introduced, the door in the kitchen to the little storeroom remains permanently shut. This is because the storeroom (which you used to be able to see into, it had shelves and a little window) occupied the same space Marilyn now walks into/out of from the Diner.

Angel seems to be perfectly cured of her spinal injury now, no mentions of physio and nobody was remotely concerned about it when she was in that plane crash

And also no one mentioned it when she dived into the pool to save Shannon either.

Poor Andrew Foley's drop in centre was booted out because it was a health hazard walking through the kitchen. He could have just moved rooms!

Which makes you wonder why they didn't just put the door to the salon where the sign is and put the sign where the door is (where someone other than the viewer) would see it.

I was half expecting them to utilise that side of Summer Bay House when Sally & Flynn moved in as his surgery, but it never happened.
