Wow that Heather girl will cause some trouble. Had no idea Sarah Monahan was in Home and Away. You just knew she was going to kiss Nelson. Nice to hear Bert's name mentioned again.

I never liked Marilyn/Steven relationship. To me it just didnt seem to work. But glad they are friends.

Curtis and Selina. Well that turned out a bit awkward. I did forget for a moment about Lara. Obviously Curtis wasn't ready and realised he hasn't completely got over Lara.

Hope we see Shane and Angel soon. Past 2 days we haven't seen them and no one in the bay seems to know about Dylan yet.

You do make my day, Old H&A Fan

How did I make your day in my post where I said Selina humiliated "mud" out of Summer Bay? Was it because I suggested counselling and mediation instead of the easy way out and just throwing him out like a load of garbage, or is it because of the part where you thought I said Selina did it all by herself (when in fact Irene and Marilyn took part in the setup)? I was being serious when I said nicer alternatives could have been done to solve the problem. No offence mate.

None taken :)

I can't discuss the episodes in question yet as unfortunately I haven't seen them. But I wasn't referring to that particular post when I said you make my day, but in general. :P With your controversial opinions, love a good debate.

I do agree that feminism and gay rights have perhaps gone too far in the wrong direction, with certain groups claiming they don't have equal rights yet they want special treatment. I say this as a gay man. Sorry, that's off topic.

Old H&A Fan, your avatar though

In regard to what I've seen of Selina so far, I'm of the opinion that she didn't pre-judge Mud before knowing the facts. Perhaps she shouldn't have said the horrible things she said like he 'gives me the creeps' but I think it was more because she was being protective of Irene, knowing that she had a horrible marriage before, whether that was in part Irene's fault or not. I think it's safe to say any person would be protective of a parental figure like that. His behaviour has definitely been creepy though, and I haven't seen him make a move on her yet (not totally caught up) but he has overstepped the mark. It's unfair to expect the bloke (regardless of age) to not find the girl attractive, personally I don't see it, in comparison to say, Shannon, but he's not blind. However, barging in her room to cop an eyeful was a bit much.

But thanks Edward Skylover for your comments about my posts. I'm glad you like them. Yes I admit they are controversial sometimes (sorry Dan F you felt you had to put me on moderation because of it). I don't do it for the fun of it — I just get frustrated making sense of some things. I find some things outrageous (not sure what Dan F meant by "faux" in a previous comment). I do question the writers and producers (I even had a dream of meeting the actor who played Selina. I asked her if she knew who wrote her storylines on the show, and she said she was busy trying to squeeze in her schoolwork with Home And Away work).

Sorry for straying off-topic. Back to the episodes, and Heather is really quite cute, even though her word isn't worth much. Nelsm and little sally are taking her moves on him too seriously! Is it just me or does anyone else think Heather looks like Bobby? I see the point where Jack officially "went off the rails" when he decided to spraypaint someone's car (I don't know how he got the idea it was Max's car, surely he knows it's a white van, not a blue sedan). Then he bricked Max's house window. Michael gave Jack a good carpeting about vandalism, but that seems to have fallen on deaf ears. In today's episode (where Rad arrives) Jack is sliding further into trouble.

Citrus and Selina remind me of Hunter and Olivia in 21 years time.

Only Curtis has a brain and arguably a better heart and is missing the psychobitch mum and the not-so-bright stepbro! ?

I imagine Tempany had an on-set tutor like Kate, Daniel, Ryan, etc  ala the kids on Neighbours

Sarah Monahan grew up to be pretty nice looking. Pretty horrific what that bastard did to her and countless others but he copped for it in the end. (Robert Hughes/Hey Dad mess that resulted in a succesful conviction)

1745 sees the mysterious sudden appearance of a second sofa at Summer Bay House. I have always wondered how a family of 7 (8 including Pippa's father) managed to live with only room for 2 people on the sofa.

Going back a few pages....I always wondered about this as well.  For such a big house, you would think it would have a seperate lounge room, with enough seating for a big family such as theirs.  I guess they didnt watch much tellie, a lot of the furniture seems to be quite old fashioned, it screams 80's to me.

i have no memory of Heather, but then again I didn't remember maja either.  Wasn't really a regular watcher anymore of these episodes back then as real life commitments such as work got in the way.

as for mud, I have absolutely no sympathy for child sexual predators and pedophiles....IMO they can all be herded onto an island away from society and left there, it's a well known fact they rarely see what they are doing is wrong, and generally don't rehab to change their ways.  I suppose Selinas gut instinct was right.

Child bashers like Max can be left on the island too......no time for oxygen thieves like that:angry2:

Selina must have felt very rejected by Curtis......was a bit awks when he ran out on her:P

poor Dylan:(.  As usual Shane seems to be the more mature voice of reason dealing with things.

the Steven Marilyn matchup seems a bit odd,

Spoiler

How long until she and Donald hook up?  Talk about going from one extreme to the other in the age department

The house looked a lot bigger when Pippa lived there though, probably due to the layout of the furniture, but they also changed the camera position around 2003, I think.
