It sounded to me like literally what he said: to have a talk, to get to know one another, learn each other's lives, personalities, etc. like whatever the phrase "get to know each other better" actually means.

Get to know each other better while creeping under her duvet covers?

On the censorship debate - what exactly do you think the show could have shown more explicitly? Mud forcibly kissing Selina?

It's been a bit vague what Irene and Mud's marriage was actually like. Did he physically abuse the kids (not sexually)? As I seem to remember them saying that he got a bit violent sometimes.

Don't you think that's a bit of a strange and uncalled for thing to do to someone who has repeatedly told him to stay away from her and leave her alone? It's dark, she's in bed, he's climbing into the bed with her for a chat about their life? I don't think that was his intention but even if it was totally literal and 'innocent' then he's completely failing in his awareness of social boundaries.

Put it this way, how would you have responded to Mud if he did exactly what he did to Selina, to you? Would you still think he's innocently trying to get to know you as a mate?

1995 I think was classic cast as like 1987 was classic cast of Neighbours!.

I love how Ailsa once again belive best in  Irene and not think she could possibly murder Mud.

Like when Irene return to bay in early 1993 I love how Ailsa spoke to Irene as thought she was old friend.

I don't think Ailsa had any screens with Irene when she was played by Jackie Phillips I am right?.

The violence came from Irene who was on the ****. And when "mud" blamed her alcoholism for his leaving her, she blubberingly said how unfair it was of him to say such a thing.

And yes, there is a lacking of detail of what Irene and Murdoch's marriage was actually like.

What was Irene doing burning that letter? Destroying evidence? Something to hide? Hardly an innocent look! And the way she was asking Selina to cover for her over that letter, telling her what to say to the police, smells like they have a lot to hide!

I think you're right about that because I remember being baffled by the 1995 mention, having no recollection of them ever having had a relationship.

The photo used in that scene (Ailsa with her arm round Donald) was actually taken from a scene early in 1988 in which she was comforting him about something, and Celia (or possible Roo, but I'm sure it was Celia) saw this and got the wrong impression they were having an affair. I think this was when it was mentioned that they did have a few dates prior to her and Alf's relationship but nothing more. From memory their reasons for breaking up were that he was a bit stuffy/old fashioned for her liking but she ultimately thought he was a very nice man. I think that sums up how she has continued to think of/treat him ever since. I remember posting once that I think Fisher continued to carry a secret torch for Ailsa ever since and I'm still of that opinion.

Someone posted earlier about Shannon laughing over Donald crying about losing his house. I watched the scene and I don't think she was laughing at all, it was more disbelief because she could never imagine dinosaur Donald having emotions. She then came up with the idea of creating a photo album for him which was a very nice  gesture. I didn't like Pippa just saying to Donald "some of the kids pitched in too", neglecting to mention the entire thing was Shannon's idea. Inserting Jack's apology letter was a stupid idea in my opinion, turning what should be a lovely gift into a reminder of what happened and also in the process making the whole thing about Jack instead of Donald.

I hope Nelson hasn't just disappeared and is at least given an on-screen exit. His scenes with Sally in the hospital were good. Milko/Milco mention - yay!!

Michael's harshness to Jack was warranted and gave us some really powerful scenes and dialogue. I liked the whole stay-or-go scenario. Pippa had a point that they could have listened to Jack and appreciated what he was going through a little more but ultimately I was on Michael's side. It was time to be tough. Sometimes Pippa annoys me the way she sits on the fence all the time. Anyway Jack came through in the end, good for him.

Yes, Selina going on and on (and on..... and on) about her birthday after half the Bay has been destroyed in a fire has to be one of the most ridiculous things I've seen on the show. I actually don't fully blame Curtis for helping defend his friend who was in a 2-against-1 situation but his wrongdoing came in lying to Selina about it, and then heading off again when she specifically asked him not to.

I really hate that red and white squared outfit Marilyn always wears (including the opening credits). It's HORRIBLE. It also looks like it was re-made from Sophie's old maternity dress.

Angel whinged again. What a shock. After going on and on and on about how Dylan might die every time Shane dares to talk positively about the chemo etc, she now doesn't want to discuss "Wish Bringers" because "it means he's really ill and I can't stand to think of him that way".  Um.... make up your mind Angel. I mean Jeeeeeez. I know it's a horrible situation and in real life it would be hard for anyone to be positive in this situation, but the woman literally moans about EVERYTHING.... ALL THE TIME.

Had to laugh at Alf saying to Irene I am not here to talk  you as its really fair enough when you  know Alf and Irene have at  least 22 years  of time to talk to each other.

Not only she moans about everything all the time its always Shane's fault too. She's one of my least favourite characters. They ruined her after she got married. I liked her alot when she first arrived.
