Nate "how are you feeling?"
Irene "ok"
Nate "have you been taking it easy"
Irene "Does work count, as taking it easy"
Nate "No. I specially told you not to go back to work straight away"
Irene "I just want normal"
Nate "you can't ignore this"
Irene "You can't tell them, your legally bound not to"
Nate "your friends aren't going to judge you. They will just want to support you"
Irene "Mick is still recovering in the hospital here"
Nate "You would have to be naïve to think that Mick is no longer a threat. If his recovery goes well. He will be out of hospital in a few weeks time"
Irene "He's still my son"
Nate "No one would blame you if you forgot that"
Irene "you know I can't"
Nate "I know. But Mick needs to face up to his mistakes"
Irene "It wasn't his fault this time. That car came out of nowhere"
Nate "stop making excuses for him. He put you in a dangerous situation. You could of died. I will never forgive him for that"
Irene "I'm not asking you too"
Nate "how have you been hiding your injuries sustained in the crash"
Irene "not convincingly if I'm honest. Marilyn and Olivia are getting suss"
Nate "as your doctor and your friend, can you take at least 2 weeks off work to recover please. Use your holiday pay if you have too"
Irene and Nate share a hug.

Nate "this was a huge and traumatic event. I'm sure it would of brought up a lot of bad memories from your past. So if you feel like your not coping, I can prescribe you something or can arrange a counsellor for you to talk to. Or you can always talk to me"
Irene "thankyou, I will think about it"
Nate "how's the investigation going into the accident?"
Irene "The summer bay police department don't know about it"
Nate "why am I only hearing about this now"
Irene "there was confusion about jurisdiction. The accident site was on the boarder and the other police department agreed to handle it"
Nate "why wouldn't you correct them"
Irene "I was injured"
Nate "I can't believe this. This car that hit you is probably long gone by now"
Irene "what happens when I tell the cops"
Nate "Mick ends up back behind bars"
Irene "Nate.."
Nate "what, It's where he belongs"

 

The Morgan's
Oliva bursts in.
Mason "ever heard of knocking?"
Olivia "ever heard of locking your door"?
Mason "why are you here?"
Olivia "don't play innocent"
Mason "I have no idea what your talking about"
Olivia "you framed Hunter"
Mason "that's crazy, even for you"
Olivia "no. It makes perfect sense"
Mason "your just trying to blame me for something your boyfriend did. I mean that would solve your problem wouldn't it"
Olivia "what problem?"
Mason "your love triangle problem"
Olivia "it's not a love triangle"
Mason "He's not the right guy for you"
Olivia "what do you mean"
Mason "you just don't know him as well as you think"
Olivia "I think we know each other pretty well"
Mason "He really did light that fire. I saw him do it"
Olivia "how could he, I was with him"
Mason "all day"
Olivia "not all day"
Mason "let me guess you only saw him afterwards"
Olivia "yes"
Mason "So, open your eyes and see what's right in front of you"
Olivia "Hunter told me he's innocent and I believe him"
Mason "your so naïve. Surely you have your doubts about his innocence"
Olivia "I...don't"
Mason "you hesitated. you know that its only a matter of time before they link that lighter and gloves to hunter"
Olivia "I didn't mention any evidence"
Mason "I saw him commit the crime, remember. I mean he must of been so dumb to hide the evidence in his locker"
Olivia "how did you know that?"
Mason "its no secret they were searching lockers. It's a pity not all of them were locked"
Olivia "how would you know Hunter's locker wasn't locked, that information wasn't released to the public"
Mason "I think you misheard me"
Olivia "no, actually I heard you perfectly. Thanks for admitting to framing Hunter"
Mason "so what if I did. Your never going to be able to prove anything. I will deny it"

Oh my, Mason really is a little creep, isn't he?!  Does he think that this is the way to get Olivia or is it simply that he doesn't want Hunter to have her? That conversation was very unsettling. 

Worried about Irene too. She needs to look after herself and not push herself so much. I can understand Nate's attitude here, I think I'd be in full agreement with him.

I hope the cops arrest Mason for interfering in a police investigation because he just committed a crime

Chapter 15

Mick "Hi Mum"
Irene "How are you feeling today?"
Mick "I have a set of broken ribs and I am feeling quite sore"
Irene "the main thing is your alive"
Mick "you should go"
Irene "I wanted to make sure you were ok?"
Mick "just go. I wouldn't want to ruin your perfect image"
Irene "where is this coming from?"
Mick "I know you don't want me here. So you can stop pretending and go back to your perfect little life"
Irene "it's not an act. I do want you here. You are my son"
Mick "the son you are too ashamed to admit to the world you have"

 

The Garage

Ash "Is this yours?"
Ash throws Matt a lighter.
Matt "yes. where did you find it?"
Ash "I found it a while ago"
Matt "you had it all this time"
Ash "what's the big deal?"
Matt "I was looking everywhere for this"
Ash "It's just a lighter. How hard is it to go buy another one"
Matt "it's special"
Ash "right. I thought you were a guy"
Matt "hilarious Ash"
Ash "I thought only girls got all sentimental
about stuff"
Matt "that means you must be a girl too then"
Ash "I don't know your talking about"
Matt "your sentimental about relationships"
Ash "have you been smoking"
Matt "I know you still have her jacket"
Ash "don't bring my ex into this"

Irene's House

Hunter "Liv, did I do something wrong"
Olivia "no. why would you think that?"
Hunter "you raced off rather quickly, I didn't mean to upset you"
Olivia "you didn't. I just realised I was late"
Hunter "late for what?"
Olivia "late for my shift."
Hunter "that was quick"
Olivia "Roo decided to cover. I wasn't feeling up to it"
Hunter "are you feeling better now?"
Olivia "yes, much better"
Hunter "so, are we good"
Olivia "we are good"
Olivia hugs Hunter.

Great chapter. I think Irene would be wise to give Mick a wide berth. He may be her son but he's dangerous! I wonder why Matt wants this lighter so much, and why did Ash have it? And I wonder why Olivia didn't tell Hunter about Mason... Lots of questions... Interesting! Looking forward to the next update x
