I don't think so... but would be funny if you tried to enter the thread and it came up with an error message. 'Sorry, the following error has occured - The thread you have tried to enter has overflowed. It will explode in 5... 4... 3... 2... 1...'

Haha, bits of everyone's posts from years ago would all just be in a big mush of text. That would actually be quite cool to see, I think!

But, seriously, I well wanna PM an Admin and be like, 'Is there a maximum number of posts a thread can hold (or, actually, a maximum number of posts you can quote in one post) before the system totally crashed?'

Although, I reckon there's probably easier ways than that to make it crash, anyway...

I don't think trying to make the system crash would make you overly popular, but if you quoted too many posts you'd spend a lot of time scrollng down!
